At first I was bummed because I realized you can only plug in one heat mat, so I thought I would need to purchase more thermometers. Then I realized I could just plug a power strip into the thermometer and plug my 3 heat mats into that. It kept all 3 at the same temperature and worked great!! I still may need to purchase another thermometer so I can have mats at cooler and warmer settings as I accidentally got a few cold hardy starts too warm and baked them because I had raised the temperature up for warmer crops. Just things to consider going forward.This was very easy to use and worked great!!

it works well with turning off my heat lights when they get too hot so my leopard gecko won't burn and sizzle lol it's pretty accurate and it was easy to set up.

When thermostat controller arrived, it was set to C by default. I wanted temperatures in F, so I followed the instruction included in the package, which state that to change the readout from C to F, long-press the UP button. No mater how long I pressed, that did NOT work. The product description has the same (incorrect) instructions. The video included in the product description shows the user first going into temperature set mode and then doing a long-press on the UP button, so I tried that. It did NOT work. I tried long-pressing the DOWN button instead; still no luck.Finally, I tried a quick simultaneous press on both the UP and the DOWN button. Eureka! Each quick simultaneous UP+DOWN press changes the display back and forth between C and F.Pretty amazing that the instructions in the box, the on-line instructions, and the video instructions are all incorrect.Worried that something else might not work as advertised, I tested both the functioning of the power switch and the accuracy of the temperature reading. Both work just fine.

I used this to make a cheap proofing box for bread and it works well. Very easy to use. I took a cardboard box, lined the inside with rigid foam panels and use the thermostat to keep the heat at 75 degrees.

This regulates the temperature of the soil in the starter trays we use for peppers and tomatoes perfectly. Plug your heating mat into to temp control and put the probe in the soil. Set your ideal temperature and let the seeds grow.

I use these to control heat mats for Ball Pythons. These work extremely well. Their price point is amazing! I used to build single temp controllers building Inkbird ITC-1000 TEMPERATURE controllers. For single use, THESE are the way to go! No building, no wiring, just plug and play! For a snake rack with multiple heat mats I will still build temp controllers utilizing the INKBIRD ITC-1000 as you can minimize the amount of cords and use one single power cord.

You have to lower the temperature so you can get to what you actually want. Works

Worked just like advertised. Bought a heating mat and realized after I was cooking my plants. This was just plug and play and worked perfect for what I needed.

I bought this to germinate hot pepper seeds. It works great. 5/5 item. It does exactly what it needs to do. I plug the heat mat into the regulator and set the temp. It keeps it within 1 degree +/- of what you need it. Very thankful to have this as an amature grower.

Love this product!!I needed an accurate thermostat for my ball pythons enclosure and I was curious about this one and ended up purchasing it. To be on the safe side, I also bought a temp gun to test it out.Needless to say, I've had it for several months now and it works as intended. I've tested it a few times to make sure it reads accurately and doesn't overheat, and it's perfect. Would recommend for any reptile owner or someone who is raising something that needs a stable temperature, like plants.

I loved this thermostat as a great tool to use with my reptile's heat mat in a separate tub. I only managed to use it about 3 times until it stopped working. At first it was easy to set up and install and was accurate in maintaining temperatures for my little guy. I don't use the separate tub for him often - only when I need to clean his enclosure - I've only needed to use it about 3 or 4 times since I purchased it and, recently when I went to use the thermostat, it began functioning properly as per normal but when I woke up the next morning there was no heat to the mat. The thermostat was showing it had power but there were no lights for where the temperature reads and the heat mat which was connected to it had no power. Serves me right for purchasing a cheaper product. I should have gone with the more reliable Sunblaster model that I have connected to his terrarium.

I use it for my ball python 20gal terrarium, with a seedling mat (the probe placed at substrate level). It works perfectly.
