This was the perfect addition to a Moira Schitts Creek costume party. I added a crow feather Fasconator hat and voila! Good quality, not expensive, , easy to put on.

What a wonderful find! It's really a great costume addition for the price. I'm giving it 4 stars for two issues:First, the cute lace trim was sewn on the wrong side of the feathers. If you look at the product pictures you can see green shimmer on the feathers, which is totally there but on one side of the feathers. It's not a big deal at all and with my hair covering the part I'm talking about you can't even tell! (So in the future I'm going to reverse it for other photoshoots so the green does show in my photos.)Second, the bigger issue, is that it's not nearly as big as advertised. I'm a small person, I stand 5 feet tall, so you can see how the feathers are not as full / dense or as long as advertised on the model who would clearly be taller than me. STILL, I was so impressed with it when it arrived and I really liked the price for it so I'm still happy with it! I definitely recommend and maybe even layering two of them would add to the effect.

(wife writing review) So, I am purchasing this for a costume and it will still work but I am writing this for those who may need an accurate description. I purchased the shrug. It isn't as long or as full as the side picture shows. Also if you actually want the gold trim, it isn't as long or as shiny as it shows in the picture. I don't care for the gold, so I may just remove it (I have not decided yet). It will still work for what I need it for and it didn't cost a lot compared to what other items could cost for costumes, so overall I am happy with the purchase. If it falls apart after a few times, I am ok with that. Also, it fits fine for me, I am 5'5" and about 135lbs, not petite. If you are much larger, this may not fit very well. Hope this review helps those debating on purchasing this.

I thought the quality was very good. Worked perfectly for my Halloween costume and I thought the feathers were not thin at all.

I would have given this piece 5 stars, but the lace broke the first time I wore it. Good thing I had a safety pin with me.

This is not your grandmother's "shrug", that's for sure. This isn't designed to keep you warm, but it is guaranteed to make you the star of the show. It's borderline "costumey" looking (because of the over-the-top, fiercely confident look it gives off)...but, if you're Not a plain Jane..& if you don't mind being a stunner, and stepping out of the box of "normal"...then, buy this. You might only wear it once, who cares? It's less than $30 & it's red-carpet-worthy. If you're on the fence about this purchase, I encourage you to Do You! Live a little ;) This is an exciting accessory. I wore it with black skinny pants, black pumps, a black tank, and red lipstick, with my hair in a top-knot. Fire. "Life is too short to wear boring clothes."

Loved the feathers, definitely complemented the look I was going for.Found it sat best if I wrapped the strings up over my shoulder & tied to my bra strap 😂😂
