It's a good chair.
This review will be promptly updated in the event of any problems. If it has not been, you can safely assume it is holding up to hours of daily use. Very well packaged, easy to assemble, sturdy, and comfortable at the upper end of its weight range. I'm 6'1 and 260lb, which puts me outside the recommended weight range of many cheaper ergonomic office chairs. So far, this is exceedingly comfortable for extended sitting periods and doesn't show any signs of instability. I experience chronic back pain and this chair - while perhaps not providing life-changing relief - doesn't exacerbate any problems. It promotes an upright, healthy posture and is a joy to sit in. For the price, this is an absolute knockout in all respects. Minor annoyances follow in the review, but none of the listed problems would keep me from unreservedly recommending this chair to my friends and colleagues. The lumbar support is kind of a joke at my height - at the tallest setting it doesn't clear my hips. It's not really the chair's fault, and it's not uncomfortable, but it's the weakest point in the design. The lift cylinder protrudes a full three inches below its socket in the base when fully seated. It's very secure and the casters give it more than enough clearance from the floor, but it does come across as mismatched. The adjustment settings are fine. Tilt resistance doesn't really do anything, but the seat depth, armrest adjustments and synchronized tilt are perfect. Much more versatile than any other budget office chair I've ever used. If you or your business have the cash to dump on a Herman Miller or Steelcase, go for it. If you'd like a close approximation for a fraction of the price, this is it. As far as I'm concerned, it punches so far above its price range it's hardly worth looking for things to complain about.

Great chair! Read this review. Updated
(Update 4 months: chair is still rock solid with heavy use very happy) So I'm 6'1 195lbs. I'm extremely picky about chairs!. But I'm not gonna spend $1000+ for a chair anymore. I ordered this chair with the head wrest. Finally! A chair that has arm wrists that feel quality. So many chairs have arms that wobble around. Even my steelcase leap V2 has had that issue. These are nice and sturdy and stay where I put then without moving. I love it! The lumbar support is ok, it's edit:it IS adjustable but i didn't realize it at first feels comfortable so I have no complaints. The bottom cushion is firm enough I dont think it will break down to much over time. But also soft enough that it feels good. It hits that nice sweet spot in the middle. A new ergonomic chair can feel weird at first to many new buyers. But, often thats more due to you having sat poorly for many years. Give yourself a week or so to warm up to it, and afterwards you could never go back to regular chairs. Keep in mind when looking at reviews on here. Everybody has a diffrent body type and no chair is one size fits all. But if your wondering simply about the quality of this chair for its price it nails it! Its basically a steelcase leap V2 (I have one of those also) but I find this one to be the better value, and honestly just as comfortable. The bottom seat moves forward and back. Perfect for taller guys like me. I wish maybe the seat was an inch longer or so. But that's just me slouching in the chair, wich is not how you should sit in it anyway. I'll leave you with this. I'm sure youre skimming Amazon looking at all kinds of ergo chairs. I have too, many many times over the years. This is hands down the best of the lot unless you want to increase your budget by $800 and truthfully I'd rather sit in this VS a HM Aerion. I also love this has the option of foam backs. I'm over the whole mesh thing. Hard mesh wrecks your clothes and feels to stiff, soft mesh sags over time and starts to crunch your center area.... I'd say if your on the fence, just get it. With the head wrest imo. But again keep in mind everybody feels diffrent in every chair.

Comfortable enough, lumbar and seat pan could be better
Very easy to assemble, chair is built very well and is quite hefty. The seat cushion can be moved out towards the legs a lot, which may be great for taller users. However, because of the small seat depth and the relatively large gap between the seat and backrest, my butt can sag in between the seat and the back rest resulting in not so great support. Also, the lumbar is quite stiff, I wish it allowed for more adjustment there. The overall materials and handrest adjustment are great but the chair design as a whole is definitely not comparable to the Steelcase Leap. One year later, the Clatina is still solid and while it isn't great for me it might be great for you so I would say it's worth a shot for 200 bucks.

Received an assembled, then improperly disassembled, chair with no hardware
I ordered a new chair and received a used chair with no hardware that was apparently disassembled with a vice grip and hammer. The hardware box was opened with the wheels being the only thing in it. I used my own wheels and bolts since I never received any bolts and I use Inline style wheels. If I wanted a used chair I would have bought the used model for $70 less. As for the chair; it's comfortable, went together easily, looks good and is more adjustable than anything I've bought in this price range. I have no choice but to keep it since I need a chair but If I had it all to do over I would still buy this chair, just from someone else. Update: I replaced my aging, locking wheels that I put on this chair with a new set with locking wheels and spindle. When I removed the wheels they took very little effort, requiring no tools. The holes for the wheels are well out of spec, on my roommate's chair and my old chair the new wheels click into place audibly, and with authority. This base barely grips the c-clip on the wheel spindle allowing the wheel to wobble in it's socket and the spindle brake to do nothing. Fortunately I've located a free aluminum chair base that will be a marked improvement, most people won't have that for less than $40. The chair itself is amazing, the ergonomics are top notch, with more adjustability than most. The arms are a bit hard, and lacking forward and backward movement makes it tough to get the perfect position with my desk. For me(6'4") the headrest is a necessity, as is the lumbar support that most people seem to hate.

Generally good chair BUTโฆ
Ive had this chair since 2021 and only now noticed that the center pole has sunk through the chair feet base and is almost touching the floor. The other issue was since day one is that the seat has a small amount of swaying on the base from side to side. Other that these two complains the chair is well built, comfortable and has enough adjustments.

Decent chair held back by limited adjustment ranges.
I purchased this chair after encountering several positive reviews endorsing it. Assembly The assembly was pleasantly simple. The chair came with a set of casters and five pieces: Base, seat pan, backrest, gas cylinder and headrest. In total, you only end up having to use 3 screws during the assembly, making it a breeze to get everything together. Seat Comfort wise, the seat is average and inoffensive. The cushion is thin and firm but not uncomfortable. The seat depth can also be adjusted forward and backward, allowing the seat to accommodate people of different heights. However, pulling the seat pan all the way forward leaves a gap at the back of the seat, which may be an issue for taller users. Armrests The armrests are capable of three adjustments: Width, height, and pivot. However, these adjustments are not that useful since the armrests are small and placed so far forward that I was not able to rest my elbows on them. The padding is also barely softer than hard plastic, making them uncomfortable to rest your arms on for long periods. Lumbar Support The lumbar support has a small height adjustment range and no depth adjustment. The lumbar pad was too aggressive for me, pushing my lower back forward uncomfortably. The lumbar is removable, but without it, the backrest has little to no support. Headrest The headrest while plush, was not able to accommodate my height. During my use, the headrest pushed my head forward making it unusable for me. Recline The recline is a hit or miss. The range is large and has a tilt limiter feature that allows you to adjust the range of the recline. There is also a knob that allows you to adjust the tension of the backrest. However, even at the loosest tension, the backrest still requires some effort to recline fully back. While the chair provides ok support and has many adjustments, they end up lacking the ranges necessary to make them useful or comfortable. The headrest does not go low enough for shorter users, the armrests lack the size and adjustability to allow you to rest your arms on them, the lumbar is too aggressive to be comfortably used with no way to adjust its depth, and the seat depth leaves a gap when pulled all the way out which could be an issue for taller users. Overall, while the chair provides a passable sitting experience and is easy to assemble, It's main selling point for me, its adjustability, is executed poorly.

Hands down, best chair for the price
As we have all been working from home, it might be time to look at what you have for the setup. I finally broke my gaming chair after almost 5-6 years of service. I decided to do a TON of research. I have found the best chair for the price, hands down. Before buying, I investigated Clatina and the company that actually makes the chair. I just couldn't believe a chair like this would exist below $300 without SOME kind of catch. I've seen Steelcase, Herman Miller, and other brands go for $800, but I don't have that much to spend!! It took a while to arrive, but I am happy with the results. It has a TON of features on chairs that are easily twice the price. Dollar for dollar, this is the BEST chair I could have purchased. I looked at a LOT of chairs and compared apples to apples features. Buyer beware, though. I have no experience contacting the company for warranty support. So this might be tricky if needed down the line. Here's what it has over other chairs for the. Price: * Adjustable seat depth (this was a big one for me) * 3D Adjustable arm rests (like the chairs I had in the office * Locking tilt mechanism that has 4 separate stages for reclining back. So you can set exactly how far you want to lean back * Easy to reach tension mechanism for the tilt function * A firm but comfortable seat cushion * Top of the chair reaches my shoulders comfortably. I am 6'1". I feel secure in the seat at 260 lbs. Something about the controls I just liked is that the height/depth adjustments for the seat are locked on the sides, and down have paddles below the chair. It can be confusing as to which is which sometimes. (Height on the Right, Depth on the Left) If you have the money for a better chair, don't look at this one. Buy the Steelcase Leap or Herman Miller Aeron if you can afford it. UPDATE: So the endless quarantining led me to gaining weight and averaging near 300 pounds. This has requires me to update the casters and chair base as the original one cracked from the strain. It lasted roughly 1 year

Best chair I've ever had!
First, the shipping is outstanding in how they pack it so securely. Second, I've had so many office chairs that wore out the seat or arms in a few months and were never very comfortable. This one is by far so comfortable and I can tell after a few weeks, it's not going to wear out. The seat and back are firm yet supportive. It's just plain comfortable and adjustable. The seat itself can be adjusted forward or backward, plus the height of the chair, and the amount of flex you want in the back like if you like to rock or not, you can set that too. The arms are optional. I put them on but you don't have to, and they can be adjusted too. I can't express how just simply comfortable this chair is. I'm 61 and have had a dozen or more chairs in my life. This one, by far, is the best of them all. I'm so happy I bought this chair! UPDATE over a year later 9/28/22: Still loving this chair and the seat and back are still firm and supportive and everything still works. Very sturdy for sure as I sit in it 12+ hours per day and I'm 190.
