Bought three of these for use with my FireTV cubes (wanted to add add’l storage space). These cables were the second brand of cables I ordered (the first did not work with my FireTV cubes)—these do. Satisfied.

I bought this item to connect a keyboard to my Firestick. Once everything was plugged in, the keyboard connected right away. No further setup was needed.

This was easy to setup and worked the first time and continues to work.

Update: I was eventually able to get it to work, by plugging it into a usb hub rather than directly into the y splitter; after that, plugging it directly into the y splitter began to work as well. It makes no sense, but its been working perfectly for a couple of weeks now. My advice is to just buy a STB with built in IR in the first place, but if you can deal with the jank this product is worth it[Original review]Does not work for use with iretv ir receiver; The receiver works fine when plugged into my coreelec box;when plugged into the fire stick via the y-adapter it just shows a solid blue light, which according to inteset support means you're supposed to turn off "USB Debugging" on the fire stick, however, no such setting exists, in the current Fire OS firmware at least. I'll update if I can figure out how to get it to work, but for now no luckI tested on both a ~2019ish Fire Stick 4k, and a Fire Stick Max I picked up last year, same results on both

Good data and power trasmision

Did what I needed I now have a full size USB port on my fire Cube that works. This plugs into the back of the fire cube and then the micro USB ethernet adapter plugs into it. Do not plug it into the micro USB port on the ethernet adapter.

Useless junk. Does not work at all. Returning for a refund. Bought a Y cable from another vendor that at least worked somewhat. Product support with Inteset is essentially non-existent.

This item was just the perfect thing that I needed!
