I used this product to store chemicals I use in woodworking, eg denatured alcohol, mineral spirits, acetone, etc. These bottles are very sturdy and the caps seal them well.

Heavy-weight and sturdy lid, but don't think that just because they're durable means they'll take a cold water bath immediately from PC.

These are perfect for cooking agar. I would say that they are a little large for smaller hands, but this is some quality glass. These will last for years, probably decades, barring accidents....

Just buck up and buy Pyrex. These bottles are such horrible quality. They feel like plastic and have a visible "seam" running the entire length of the bottle. My $2 pickle jar is higher quality than these.

These bottles do not say pyrex anywhere on them or on its packaging. They only hold heat up to 140 degrees, so it says, but I didn't try it because I was afraid that they would break. I added liquid that was about 80 degrees F only. I, also, don't think these two bottles are worth $16/2, maybe $8/2. than that, they're nice bottles. Unfortunately, I can't use them for what I wanted to use them for. Vendor, either take out the word Pyrex from your title, or, add the word pyrex to the bottles.

I'm not using them for any temperature extremes. But they're very sturdy. Lid is water-tight too.

Storage bottles have been used in my lab and have met all quality standards. Shipping was excellent in well protected packing.
