TombowFudenosuke Brush Pen Twin Tip Black Gray 1-Pack 3 Set

Gorgeous dual tip black and grey fudenosuke pen!
I’m a collector of all kinds of pens like drawing/ writing/ journaling/ calligraphy pens, etc, but I especially like obscure Japanese pens, so finding this pen was really cool for me! Admittedly, aside from “tombow” and “made in Japan”, I have no clue what anything written on the actual pen says, so if it weren’t for the listing title I wouldn’t have a clue what to call this pen, but it writes gorgeously with two tips, one at each end. One is rich black ink and the other is a light grey ink. Both a slightly larger than fine line writing size (see photos). I love it!

The pen for my purse
Tombow = Love. This is a brand that I don't have to try it first to know that it works well. I do lots of brush lettering and this pen is perfect. I can use the black side to write my word and WA-LAH, gray side to make a shadow. It's easy to make a simple word look like a finished product. All in one pen. This is the one I carry with me all the time in my bag for those 'emergency' items like envelopes, folder labels, or quick tags.I'm not easy on my products. I use it on the crappiest copy paper, the roughest kraft paper, and occasionally even wooden items. This pen and the Tombow Fudenosuke are good pens that handle my 'rough' usage well.

By far my favorite brush pen
By far my favorite brush pen. I love the option of black or gray, and they are absolutely perfect for the beginner brush calligrapher. I will be purchasing more of these to carry in my purse so I will have them when I am on the go!

Excellent pen!
Excellent brush pen! Everyone has their own style and requirements for writing tools, but I find these two nibs are perfection — not too soft and not too firm ( the gray nib is not really "hard" but has slightly less give than the black nib). The ink is smooth and opaque but you can definitely get sketchier looks depending on how you move the pen. Took a stab at some calligraphy and didn't do too badly and I'm a complete novice. I plan to use them for mixed media and art journaling, and I am super happy that I accidentally ordered two :-)

Really easy to use if you know the up and downstrokes
This pen was super nice and smooth and the variations between the hard and soft for black and gray (respectively) was really nice. I tried my friend's pen out before buying it to make sure that I would really use it, and it was definitely worth it. I'm totally going to be using this for bullet journaling. However, that said, the package did come about a week after the estimated time for delivery, and only after I emailed them. It still says that the package hasn't been delivered yet but that might just be a glitch in the Amazon website.

Good Calligraphy Pen
I bought this as a tester to practice my calligraphy, and was pretty wary considering there were a couple of times the buyer didn’t receive the correct order, though the brush pen came as described, and I love it. It has a firm tip so it’s easy to control (especially as a beginner), and the grey tip allows for easy shadowing. I would definitely recommend buying this if you bullet journal.

A great pen for new brush calligraphy users
I am new to brush calligraphy. I like the black tip more then the gray one. I would like to see a double sided black pen. Since I am new to brush calligraphy, I am killing the pen tips. This pen makes it easy to learn brush calligraphy. I suggest buying a 3-4 at a time if your new. It is easier then having to repurchase them and wait for the pen to be shipped to you.I also like that the pen is longer then the blue or green brush pens. Somehow that makes it easier to do the brush strokes.

Great brush pen for beginners.
Great pen for hand-lettering novices like me. The gray is rather light, but still does a great job with brush lettering. The Tombow dual brush pens come in better colors, but are much harder for me to use.

Five Stars
Excellent pigmentation. The grey gives a shadow effect. Nibs are sharp and precise. Excellent for that price. Great stuff

Acceptable
The brush tip is very stiff, but it still works nicely.

Bon stylo
Bon matériel mais ne convient pas pour la calligraphie "débutante" (pointe un peu molle)A réserver à celles qui en ont l'habitude

Worth Every Dime!
Great pens. You can't get better for calligraphy or modern lettering. Worth every penny.
