Bought this way before traveling, glad to get this item off my list. However, river cruising from Amsterdam to Basel then through many stops in Switzerland to Italy it only fit one hotel hair dryer. It worked well on that one but I depend on a diffusser everytime. It was a guess on my part which universal size would work - picked the wrong size but had no way of knowing beforehand.

This diffuser fit on all the hotel and B&B's blowdryers in Calabria and Sicily during my 3 week travel trip to Italy. On account of the somewhat 'stretchy' silicon, it even fit on a couple blowdryers with odd shaped ends. The 4th week in the south of France and our last night in Zurich proved more problematic. There the 3 hotels had blowdryers that were the funky wall mounted thingamajigs that would not accommodate the diffuser. This doesn't mean that all hotels in the south of France have this type of blowdryer! Definitely not. I just made do-- turned my head upside down, hit the roots and let the rest air dry. For me anyway, 85% of having cool curls is using the right product ...The diffuser itself was perfect: light weight and yet when expanded, worked just as well as the bulky solid plastic one I use at home. Perhaps better ... as the entire piece heats up for a quicker dry time. Worked Great for my long curly hair. I travel light so size-wise, the diffuser fit perfectIy in my 22" carry-on suitcase. I could not have been happier with this purchase and will take it on all future trips!

Shipped quickly and like the fact there is a bag. It was a little too small for my hairdryer nozzle, but I was able to make some modifications so it could fit (cut the "nubs" down on the inside of the diffuser sleeve). However, it is a bit flimsy. It tends to collapse or bend while I'm drying my hair. I bought a similar collapsible diffuser (pink one) from Sally's Beauty Supply which worked great and did not collapse/bend while using. However, it finally broke after 4 years of frequent use. This one will do the job, even if it is flimsy while using. Will keep until it falls apart and will likely replace it with a different brand.

I picked this up specifically for a 10-day trip to the UK when I was wanting to minimize my luggage. I loved the collapsible feature, and that the "teeth" seemed pretty sturdy. On my home dryer, it fits perfect. On the hotel dryer it was VERY snug - I had to warm it up a few minutes to squeeze it on, and it was difficult to do. That being said, it does a great job on my curls, and I've switched over to using it at home, replacing the diffuser that I had been using. BONUS: my sister's and my shoes got wet while on vacation, and I used the hotel dryer + this diffuser to dry them out and it worked great! I'm sure that's against all product recommendations, but whatever. It took a couple of hours, but it did a great job of focusing the air flow so we could be ready to go the next morning.

This diffuser works fine. It will collapse if you push too hard against your head. It also did not fit my Chi Onox Euroshine dryer. To keep it from falling off we used a Cable tie. Unless I remove the cable tie I cannot use my dryer without the diffuser. So it's not convienient to switch back and forth. Lucky for me my hair is curly so I always use a diffuser. All in all I'm happy with it. My hair drys faster and and better.

I purchased this for travel and it checks all the boxes for that purpose - lightweight, collapsible, it even comes in its own travel bag. I was prepared for perhaps a less than stellar performance but was pleasantly surprised to find that my hair dried quickly and with volume. I had to struggle to get it onto the hotel dryer but was able to make it work. I was planning to keep this in my suitcase for trips but am now considering purchasing another for every day. It does collapse easily but my hair is short (just below my chin) so may be more of an issue with longer hair.

Product was as described. It does fold a little easily so if you have super heavy hair or like to push it on your head it will collapse. I just lightly plop my waves on it and it stays expanded.It’s doesnt stretch too much and mine measured 2 inches as described. Bc my dryer has a nozzle slightly larger that 2 inches this would be too hard to take on and off again for daily use. It’s just on there now, unless maybe I was traveling. Then I wouldn’t mind dealing with taking it off for packing.

I am so glad I ordered this. Not only is it good for traveling but for at home use it takes up so much less space in my drawer. The only down side I can find is if you push it up against your head, yes it will collapse. But I am working on keeping it from doing that. That is a lesson for me. Overall great product, great service from vendor.——————-Update to my previous review.I just came back from a trip and this product did NOT fit the hotel hairdryer as expected. I was very disappointed. The diameter of the hotel dryer was exactly the same size as the diffuser. I have attached pictures to show this fact. I have also attached pictures to show how it fits my home hair dryer. I still love it though.
