AG Industries Super Deluxe CPAP Chin Strap AG-CHSD

Very good, strong chin strap which keeps my mouth shut during sleep but after a while it starts to hurt my ears since it covers them. I wear it not only because I use a C-PAP but also, I tend to bite my tongue & inner cheeks in my sleep.

I've tried various ways to keep my mouth closed during the night while using my ASV machine, and, while not ideal, this is the best solution I've found. I have to adjust the strap every three months or so because it stretches out. After two or three years, I have to replace it. They get dirty so should be washed periodically. I recently bought several of them to keep on hand, just in case.This is what I do with the two little straps that come with the big, main strap. Individually, they're too short to reach around the back of my head, so I fasten them together so they cross over each other to form a slightly longer strap and then Velcro the remaining ends to the big strap just above my ears. Without this back-of-the-head strap, the big strap would work itself forward and off the front of my face.

Decent strap. It is a bit tight, and goes fully over your ears, which can be annoying and a little warm. If you have a big head, I think it might be too tight, otherwise I think it would be fine. The quality is fine, and I think it will last a long time and wash well.

I wanted to like the chin strap. It is made of quality materials and the concept is the right one, a wide strap that is less likely to slip from one's head. The issue I had with it is that, for my head, it is about 1-2" too short. At the largest dimension length-wise where material meets velcro enough to keep it fastened securely, it was way too tight and uncomfortable. As I say another inch or two would have made it fine. I tried to make it work but alas returned it today. I've used a similar design from another manufacturer that got the length right but was of inferior material. Make the AG Industries model longer and I'll buy it.

This chin strap is better and more comfortable than many others I have tried. It looks like the velcro is going to last way longer on this that the skinnier one used previously. Super value at this price.

These item are nothing short of a miracle for me. Very adjustable and you can cut it down in width to make it more comfortable. Works great in tandem with my nose mask and also helps eliminate my snoring. Best of all no dry mouth. Win win win!

Sort of worked. Had to turn back part of the strap to keep from pressing in to my neck, so it was fairly comfortable, but I still snored. Used Nasivent Anti-Snoring nasel inserts, too, but I still kept my son awake in our hotel room. I will try it again, tightening up the strap so it's a bit uncomfortable, but it may keep my jaw shut!

Works thr best of several I have tried. Doesn't come off. A little hot in summer.
