It fit well. Looked nice with a nice attractive pattern woven in. I do think the weave was a bit looser than I would have expected. We'll see how it wears over time.

This sweater was impeccably constructed. The alpaca wool yarn utilized is of premium quality. The color ordered (a royal blue) was as pictured. It is not tightly knit, so do take care not to snag or tug the yarns. IMPORTANT NOTE:Know how to take care of hand knit woolens prior to purchase as their care takes a bit of time if you prefer not to dry clean. The quick clean method for alpaca woolen is dry clean only to preserve the texture of the wool. I avoid the dry cleaning chemical process as chemical residue remains in the woolen garment. I prefer to HAND soak in cool water with ultra mild soap (a "green" organic garment soap for fine woolens is my choice, some people use a plain baby shampoo diluted 50/50 with distilled water to dispense as wool hand washing detergent) DO NOT USE fabric softener on woolens!! I do use a very dilute amount of Cosco "green" soap in wash water placed in a porcelain sink or large glass bowl to soak/clean, then soak & rinse in clear cool water & lay flat to dry. Now it's simple to determine that wool article is clean, as no soap or grimey residue is left on porcelain sink/glass bowl after emptying rinse water. Wool does absorb body oils/sweat.To hunters/outdoor enthusiasts "on the fly" (when dry cleaning & hand washing aren't an option): Hanging outside in a mesh type garment bag for handwashing in mild clear early morning weather (avoid placing outdoors when there is brilliant sunshine to prevent fading of color) 50 - 65 F degree weather for 3-4 hours will refresh woolens & winter down/feather wear. Remove from mesh bag and handle gently. The knit weave of this sweater is handmade, intricate & NOT TIGHTLY WOVEN. PLACE IN a sweater pouch or bin to preserve beauty of the yarns & the weave. I wish manufacturer that provided this sweater suggested a specific method & available brand garment soap to hand launder this beautiful sweater. My method works very well but it can't hurt to improve upon. This sweater was made to last a lifetime if you care for it properly. This is a beautiful, fine quality (genuine) 100% wool crafted sweater. I LUV my woolens, silks & cotton garments. Wool is always the premiere mode of spring/autumn/winter couture. Very pleased!!

Love this sweater. I'm 6' 3" 250lbs and the XL is prefect after a little stretching. It's a loose knit so if the arms flair a bit just pull on the sleeve lengthwise and it tightens up. Very soft and snag-able so be aware of that. I wear it under a light jacket for mild days and under a pea coat for colder days and keeps me almost too warm.

It is soft and warm. The knitting is a little loose so it is easy to snag so be careful. It looks good too, but I wish the neck opening was larger and had some elasticity to it. My head catches a bit when I am putting it on. It could stand a better transition on the neck, cuffs and waist area.

The sweater came in a timely manner. The sweater was well made and surprisingly warm . I really like how soft it was on the skin, my only regret was I bought one size too small.

I’m 6’2” 208 lbs. I bought a large sweater... it fits exactly as I would like a sweater to fit... the arms are long enough! Super soft and breathable warm. My new favorite and I will be very careful washing it and wearing so it will last as that is what I do with good clothes. This is not sweater to wear when you are going to fix the car or if you like to lean against wood walls or walk outside through brush thickets. If you like roomy large clothes... buy a size larger.

I had previously bought direct at a place south of the border "Alpaca something" or another (don't want to trash them) and the return policy was horrible and could not return the sweater. XL was not XL. This XL here from Amazon was and I have the piece of mind of the return policy if it didn't. Thank you Amazon and the good merchants you have! The material thickness is good, but not as thick as more expensive ones I've purchased. Looks good and I get compliments. The cable stitch design is descent and gets noticed.

For a Size small, the arms and torso were way too long - and I have long arms for a short (5ft6) Guy. The length of the torso would be more in line with a guy who’s about 6 feet tall or taller. The Alpaca wool is amazing. Really bummed it doesn’t hit me - looks horrible on me
