LaRibbons Solid Color Satin Ribbon Asst. #2-10 Colors 3/8" X 5 Yard Each Total 50 Yds Per Package

I bought this for a sewing project. It is exactly what I was looking for. Since I was reading the reviews and couple people said that the size is very small I just wanted to make clear that, as the description says, we are talking about 3/8” ribbons, so yes it is of a tiny size. Bright colors, just missing a red.

the ribbon is fine. But I'm irritated b/c I expected to receive ribbon on a spool. But that's not the way it comes. It comes as a flat, which makes it less usable for my purposes. This is the second time I've ordered ribbon from Amazon & the second time it comes in a package differently than pictured/described. I selected a different seller this time, but to no avail. It still isn't how I wanted it.

These do not come on spools as pictured (they are sort of wound into flat segments maybe 6" wide but without anything in the central core), but the colors shown in the official product image are representative of what I received, although they do not match exactly. I am using these to make ribbon ends for loom-woven bracelets (to use ribbon end crimps on) so the colors were not critical to me, as long as I can find *something* in the same color family as the beads I am using. There was enough variety in the colors that I could do that. They are actually a bit wide for my purpose (I probably should've gone with 1/4 inch, but live and learn) but I have had no trouble cutting them down to size. E6000 glues them nicely to selvages I weave at the end of my loomed pieces (give it about a day to dry) and my ribbon end crimps hold onto these ribbons nicely.These are 3/8" wide as advertised. I did not measure the full length (didn't want to re-wind the ribbon) but I noticed no knots or disconnections or joins, so you should get a full, long piece of ribbon, if that is what you were looking for. There was no plastic/chemical smell and the dye did not rub off on my fingers, though I did not get this wet and am not sure what would happen if you do. Mine did lie flat although at the ends of the flat segments they are wound into, some ironing or steaming might be nice if you are hoping to have the whole ribbon show. For my purpose, this did not matter, since I was cutting/folding the ribbon and hiding it under a crimp.The appearance of the ribbon is nice. The surfaces are smooth and even and the ends don't fray too easily (though you would want to finish the ends off in some way if the ribbons are going to be used in a project that sees a lot of wear and tear).I suspect your satisfaction with these (or lack thereof) will somewhat depend on your intended use. Since I am using very short segments and these are supposed to be hidden in my work (still working on technique so they are not always hidden in practice), I am generally happy with them. I probably won't need to order again for a long time because I only use 3-4 inches at once.

Good value on ribbon. It did not come on the spools as pictured however. I was hoping for spools since it is much easier to store this way. Instead, the ribbons came wrapped individually with a wire twist tie. I wouldn’t buy this again just because I do not see myself being able to store these nicely.

The Colors are pretty and accurately depicted in the pictures. The spools are smaller than expected - that’s OK I’m not going to use them anyway because the ribbons do not curl! I wanted to make a beautiful curly go with the ribbons but no matter if you use scissors your fingers or any of the other ways to try and curl the ribbon it is not going to happen! You will not have cascading curls you will have straight pieces of ribbon. If that’s what you want go for it!
