This is heavy duty, quality webbing
I needed to make straps to mount my Burly Brand Voyager tail bag to my luggage rack. It came with a seat mount, but it wasn't shaped correctly to fit my luggage rack. So I used these straps and the buckles off of the Burly seat mount to secure it to my luggage rack. These straps are supremely beefy - even beefier than the straps that came with the Burly bag - and they've held that bag on with no problems whatsoever. I'd buy it again when I need more. In the meantime, I have quite enough to last me for a few more projects!

Great for baby proofing.
I bought this to use as baby proofing for my 1 year old. Other baby proofing solutions are $10-20 per item. I can cut strips of this to size, and use a lighter to melt the end, and secure anything in my house.I've used it to secure our flat screen TV. I removed two screws from the back of the TV (one from each side near the top) that we're holding the back cover to the front. I twisted the screw through the nylon cord and reinserted them into the TV. I attached the nylon to our entertainment center, and now the TV can't tip over.I've also used it on furniture, by putting a small wood screw through the nylon strap into the furniture, and an anchored screw through the nylon and into the wall behind the furniture.

very nice product
I bought this for bag making. At first I thought it was too heavy duty, but my machine is handling it nicely.

Great for hanging hammocks
I use this webbing to hang my ENO doublenest hammock and it works great. The thickness sometimes gets in the way when tying knots but I'd rather have it be thicker and stronger than too thin and not strong enough. My setup is as follows:I cut the webbing in half and fused the frayed edgesTied a small bowline at the end of each halfWhen I find a spot to hang the hammock, I wrap each half around the tree/pole of interest, then pull the loose end through the bowline end This creates enough friction to keep the hammock from slippingI then tie a slip knot on each half and clip my caribiners into them. Then I retie and adjust the slip knots as necessary to achieve the optimal taughtness.

10 yards just isn't enough
I bought this as an experiment along with the buckles and slides. I wasn't sure they would work well to enable me to create custom sized straps to mount equipment on my backpack. I'm very pleased to have those doubts completely and utterly dismissed. This is strong, solid strapping. It's exactly an inch across and fitted in nicely with the buckles and slides. I've customized mounts on my bag and because it worked so well, on my sons bag and my daughters and now I'm almost out of webbing. Time to get more before the Mrs. asks for customized mounts too.I used these buckles: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003SZO23A/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_9And these slides: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A1ZH3ZO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_img_sol_2I need more slides too. These things really went perfectly together to make custom-sized straps.

Nice product
Whew! When they say heavy duty, believe it. Much too thick for the purpose I ordered for but it is a nice product.
