Blue Torrent Pumps Variable Speed In Ground Pool Pump 1.5hp Vs 220v 2" Plumbing

Does everything advertised, very pleased with purchase. Night & day between old pump and the new one. Ptice/value more than exceeds other units costing more than twice as much.

Lasted 15 months and now the motor is fried. Support from Blue torrent is nonexistent. Would not waste my money on this product!

Great pump and quite a saving on money.

This company sent us a 4k pool heater that doesn’t work. The email responses are very slow and we are still trying to get the replacement part we need. The company gives you the run around and doesn’t help to resolve issues. There is no way to speak to anyone in person and this makes it very frustrating since the only email once a week. Do yourself a favor and find another company! Huge waste of money.

Purchased this and installed by professional in an enclosed pool shed. Unit failed after just 2 seasons completely out of nowhere with no warning just failed to power on. Prior to failure pump did work very well.When purchased from “Pool Parts to Go” they stated it has a lifetime warranty.I have called and emailed manufacturer, Blue Torrent, with absolutely no answer or response to calls or emails (‭ only number on website is (516) 796-1626‬).I have emailed and called Pool Parts To Go at (‭631-300-5004‬ ) just get a voicemail with no customer service and generic reply from my email. Its now been 2 days and no formal response from them either by phone or email.Finally just brought unit to pool motor repair shop and it appears there’s a problem with control panel (motherboard) and they are unable to repair it, as parts for motherboard do not appear available (checked my self on Blue Torrent and they don’t carry ANY PARTS for this model).So I am now stuck with a less than 2 yr old piece of junk and cannot reach the manufacture for any response.Bottom line DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, unless you want a headache and $700 piece of junk. Very disappointed in Seller and manufacture for blatantly lying about warranty and failing to stand by their product. Spend more money and buy from a reputable manufacture.*Will update if I receive any responses.*7/26/20 UPDATE-Still no response from Blue Torrent or Pool Parts to Go, I have made numerous calls to customer service, emails & online request NOTHING. I have the 1.5 hp variable speed Blue Torrent. First pump didn't work had to return. Second pump ran fine for a year now dead. I have spent nearly 3 months trying to get a resolve. All I've gotten is a runaround you have to send the pump back to them for anything. I cant find my paperwork they claim they have nothing. I had to return their first pump I know where I got the pump. I'm going to have to write this off as a loss. Beware low price comes at a bigger price. Stay local.

I've had the first one for two years now and it's still running strong, typically at 3450 rpm. Buying a second one now so can put the pool sweep on one and the skimmer/drain on the other, running both at 1725 rpm. Programming takes a bit to get use to. Also, on the one I have now, you have to set the clock to 24hr time, not am/pm, to get it to except a run schedule. Other than that I love the pump.

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased pump 2 months ago. It stopped working. Although I bought it with a lifetime warranty, you will get zero support from PoolPartsToGo. Called and email Jennifer a few times and she never returned calls. I even wrote to Dan who is the Founder but zero acknowledgement. Poor company and product. Look elsewhere.
