Park Seed Ambrosia Hybrid Cantaloupe Seeds, Reliable and Sweet, Pack of 25 Seeds

Great producer in Louisiana heat and humidity!!

I have to laugh. These are around 8" in diameter. I did want the single serving size since I'm the only one that loves cantelopes.

It took a little over 3 months of growing and they are Delicious. I water them 3 or more times a week.

I have grown these melons for years, and they are the single best melons on the planet. This is the first time I have tried them in New York, however. I planted 50 of these seeds (from another company than Park) on May 17, and only three germinated. Ditto for the cucumbers and squash. I had to replant all of my melons. I replanted again a week ago (June 15) now that the soil is warmer, and am waiting for my first sprout. I will trust they are on their way, as summers are short here. I would be harvesting them already in Texas.

The seeds I received must be duds because I’ve tried several times to plant these and they won’t even sprout. Don’t waste your time or money on these, you’ll just be disappointed. And, yes, I tried starting them indoors with a grow light…..nothing!

Good germination rate. Will update after fruiting starts.

Got a jump on cantaloupes for next year. Ambrosia’s is a favorite
