this product works fine for me as you noticed here its formatted in the fat32 system but when I plugged it in on my windows 7desk top it reformatted it in the NTFS system when it installed it :( but no worries all that matters is quality and so far thislittle HDD works GREAT there is one thing I have a incredisonic media player when I plug this in the USB port the led lightremains lit when the media player is powered off I held the HDD in my hand while the media player was off and felt novibration from the HDD spinning but when I power the media player on then I feel the HDD spinning as I should it just puzzlesme why the led light stays on when my media player is powered off other than that there are no complaints thus the reason I give4 stars

It's working fine with my Mac air

Haven't used this very long, but after transferring files onto it for about twenty minutes, it overheated and the computer couldn't recognize it. I'm waiting for it to cool down so I can check if the files are alright. Might be alright if you intend to just keep information on it to retrieve in short bursts, but I often have to work off of various drives for long periods of time, so this is a bit impractical for me. None of my other drives overheat like this.

This was an anwser to a prayer works like a charm very nice fast as hell copied 75 gb in under 2 hours like 1 40 minutes or something so I say if you have win 7 64 or win 8 this is great beyond that os version of win 8 im not sure if it would work also works with mac and ps3.

We got this hard drive to store information from a computer that we could tell was on the way out. The files need to be accessed very infrequently, so the hard drive as only been plugged in less than 20 times over the last 1.5 years. Despite this, the transfer cable barely works and requires wiggling and finessed holding in order to have it stay connected to the computer just so we can get a file off of it.

Really happy with this so far. Works well as a back-up drive.

Drive arrived with it formatted to exFAT and not FAT32. The reason I Purchased drive was because it was suppose to be formatted in FAT32 already. Really sad false advertisement.

Easy to use, and transport movie's to other devices ie: TV's

Became inactive (drive began clicking and did not read) after about three months. Was initially quite snappy.
