Amazing family tent!
We took our family of 6 to the mountains for the weekend in this tent. It rained hard all weekend then, we were very surprised to wake up to 4 inches of snow in the morning. Our amazing tent did not even leak 1 drop. The design of the tent melted the snow and it slid off the sides and down onto the ground. My brother's tent next to ours caved in.....our Octagon tent held fast! And....it was warm (well, warm for the snowy Utah mountains). Dispite the snow, our children ages 11, 9, 6 and 2....never woke up to complain. There was zero condensation inside the tent, which kept us warm and dry. It was roomy! All 6 of us slept in one long row. There was plenty of room for our luggage and shoes. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the D door is fantastic! With little kids, it is perfect! In, out, in, out, in, out.....no need to zip and unzip the door until you are ready to hunker down. My kids could freely come and go without the frustration of a zipper. My 6 foot husband could easily stand in it. Such a nice refuge to change our clothes. It is so much easier than tents where you can't fully stand. We also love the pole design. There are easy color codes and they snap in with a quick twist. Love that they are metal and that they snap together quick. The hinge door and door covers are a breeze as well with quick snap locations and zip-in features. It is easy to take down and put up. My kids helped me and we had it up in 10 minutes. My extended family are outdoor enthusiasts. They were all amazed by our very awesome tent. One of our best purchases ever.

Weathered a Beach Storm like a Champ!
Hands down we were glad we bought this tent. We were looking at more expensive tents just to survive any weather that may come but chose to give this tent a try because of the rain fly's extension to the ground. We were on a secluded beach and a storm came up the second night. Winds were easily 20-30 mph off the ocean with a good downpour. The only water that got into the tent was through the screen door that we forgot to zip up (duh)....everywhere else, bone dry. Even then, it was only a tiny puddle under the door. We were VERY impressed. The tent acted like there was no wind. We're looking forward to taking this gear to the mountains. I'm no longer concerned about a storm as long as I have this tent. (Well, as long as lightning isn't involved.)We LOVE the carrying case. Everything went right back into the case with no problem. We love it. The kids are wanting to invite friends over to spend the night in the backyard in it!

Updated review
I just received this tent in today (a couple days earlier than expected, thankfully). I'm going to be taking it with me camping this weekend and will write a full review then, but I wanted to comment on the fact that this brand new tent came in a storage bag with excessive stress tears on an unpatchable seem. I'm hoping either the seller or the manufacturer reaches out about this, as it will lead to a shortened tent life without being properly stored.*Update*I've since returned from camping, and I've got nothing but positives for the actual tent. I still haven't heard back from the seller or manufacturer in regards to my initial review issue (though the seller did e-mail me that they were going to contact the manufacturer on my behalf), so I'm going to leave my rating as is for now.Setting up the tent for the first time took 10-15 minutes with one helper who has next to no experience with camping (a caveat to this is that I didn't bother to steak down the tent, or the rainfly as neither was needed for this trip.) The ends of each of the poles are color coded to allow for quickly grabbing what's needed, without constantly referencing back to the instructions printed in the bag. I am worried about losing this color coding in the future when this tent has seen some extended use, as well as the quality of those poles themselves as they feel somewhat weak during assembly, but I'll cross those bridges when I need to.Once the tent was up, and I was able to step into it, I knew I'd bought the correct tent for me. I'm 6ft, and I was able to stand up fully, and walk around inside the tent without having to bend over. I use the "Coleman Queen Airbed Cot with Side Tables and 4D Battery Pump", and the cabin walls really allowed me to feel comfortable on it. The old tent was a non-cabin style, and I would have the walls fall in a bit on my face/feet. Made for some uncomfortable sleeping, hence the upgrade.I would like a few add-ons for comfort to this tent. at least 2 more hanging hoops, and storage bags. A power channel for a center light/fan to be turned off while lying down. I'm currently using the "Coleman CPX® 6 Lighted Tent Fan with Stand", and it worked well in this tent, but I wanted this tent to embrace that Glamping feel just a bit more, without giving up that easy up style. If you guys have any questions on this tent, feel free to comment on this review.*update*I've had some exchanges with the seller, and they've accommodated the situation. I've updated the score to reflect just the product now.

Makes me wonder sometimes.
Finally got to set this tent up and sleep in it over the holiday weekend. There were a few things that have risen about this tent I'm kind of disappointed in but by no means are they deal breakers. Here they are,The poles have, what is it called zip cords?, in them. The barbwire type pinch restraints that hold the cords in place is coming out. Allowing there to be slack in the cord. The air vents on top are not accessible once the tent is up. So if you want them open during the day and closed at night you would have to take the entire rainfly off to adjust or get crafty on your relaxy time and invent a new tool. This one surprised me as it seems as a design flaw but then again I don't work for coleman. SEE PICTUREThe tent didn't fit back in the bag, tried, ended up pulling the seems apart on the zipper of the bag. Not surprising as this is a common issue that never gets addressed. Found a rolling duffle luggage bag at a garage for $5. Problem solved. The D-door is causing stress on the zipper at the arch of the D hard to zip up and worry about future seam ripping. This could possibly be caused by uneven ground or improper set-up but will look for a solution. SEE PICTURENo Power port. You can still run you power at the corner of one of the entrances but I miss the power port holes. All in all the tent gets a satisfactory for now. Love the space, shape, convenience of the D-door, and duel entrances.
