Essential, quality product for sourdough bakers in an excellent all-in-one deal
A Banneton Basket is essential for finishing a good sourdough loaf, not because it makes your loaf pretty but because it draws the dough back naturally to a better consistency. I use my baskets every day. This one is good quality. This package comes with a quality draw string bag which is the best way to keep your sourdough loaf crisp for up to 3 days, a "lame" bakers blade (which is not essential but good to have) and a dough scraper. Excellent value and a great starting point for any sourdough baker.

Great product!! Definitely highly recommend..
Been trying to get the right sourdough shape, texture, look and size consistently and I found that with this set its very easy to do. The set itself is great for beginner's and home bakers as it has everything you could need in one small package, the proving basket is great as it just the right size for a family sized loaf of bread, not massive...I will deffinatley be recommending to friends and family!!My only constructive criticism would be that, I personally like to make a couple of loaves at a time to last me the week, so maybe a set with 2 proving baskets would be ideal rather than just the 1...

Basket OK, rest of the kit not very good
The basket itself is fine; the accessories are not so good. The bag is so tight that it's a job to actually fit the basket in. The lame went rusty after one wash; the ebook is poorly written, I suspect it's been partly copied from elsewhere. Dough scraper and cover are OK, but I now wish I had gone for a cheaper kit.

Great kit for sour dough loaf.
Good for 500 g loaf. Used once so far and the dough stuck a bit to the banneton, but I understand that this is normal until it's been used a few times. I sprayed the banneton with water and sprinkled with rice flour and allowed to dry a couple days before using and sprinkled with rice flour again immediately before use. First loaf with this kit looks good and is cooling as I'm writing this.

Brilliant starter kit for the aspiring baker or as a gift
Great little starter kit that has all you need if you want to start making sourdough (other than the bread itself!!). Really liked the bread bag as I didn’t have one and the size of the banneton is great. And the price is great value. The only let down was the poorly translated ebook on how to use and aftercare for the banneton. But even if it was well written it was the part I wanted the least. I highly recommend :)

I have used this basket to form my sourdough bread and can honestly say after using it I will be purchasing more of them, they are nicely packaged and the bakers lame that comes with the basket is always a welcome addition, one can never have too many of those if you bake bread a lot! Overall a sterling product.

Very good quality. Staff were really helpful when helping me locate my ebook which was attached to their email. Like that it comes with it’s own bag to keep everything in. Tools are also high quality. Can’t fault it.
