Quik Eraser Kit, Car Scratch Remover, 4 Piece Kit

This does exactly as it says, removes tons of surface scratches and blemishes. Extremely happy I purchased this. - BEWARE. Although this works as it says, be very careful of getting hazy swirls. They can be removed with a wax/polish. I'm thankful I planned on doing the entire works with my car anyway, or this would've made me very unhappy. Great product, usage needs to be more detailed.

I’m very impressed with this product. It removed light surface scratches in just seconds. While deeper scratches are still visible, many of them look improved. It was very easy to use, and one bottle was enough to treat almost my entire car as my son worked on every scratch he could find. It wiped off cleanly without leaving any residue or damaging the paint. I even tested the application pad on a white paper towel afterward to check for paint transfer, and there was none. This is a great product to keep on hand for minor scratches. I’ll definitely be buying more, and I highly recommend it.

This kit is a fantastic, convenient package that includes the powerful ScratchX compound, a drill-mounted pad, and a quality microfiber towel. The Good (Why it earns 4 stars): This kit is an absolute winner for removing surface blemishes, oxidation, and light clear coat imperfections like fine swirl marks. The ScratchX compound is surprisingly effective and easy to work with. The inclusion of the drill-mounted pad is the key feature here—it saves an immense amount of time and effort compared to working by hand, distributing the product evenly and providing the necessary mechanical agitation without the expense of a dedicated orbital polisher. For those annoying, shallow scratches, it removed about 90% of them quickly, restoring a fantastic depth and clarity to the paint. The Not Quite Perfect (Why not 5 stars): The main reason I can't give this 5 stars is related to the "Quik" promise for anything beyond light scratches. If the scratch is deep enough to catch your fingernail, this kit requires a significant time commitment—you have to make multiple, slow, overlapping passes with consistent pressure. If you rush the process, or if you press too hard, the drill pad can occasionally leave minor hazing or buffer trails that require a final hand buff to correct. It's a powerful tool, but it demands respect and patience, which slightly contradicts the "Quik" labeling. Summary: This is the best DIY solution on the market for erasing light scuffs and perfecting a finish. It provides professional-level results for swirls and minor clear coat damage. Just remember that true, deep scratches are best left to a body shop, or tackled with careful, repeated effort using this kit.

I have a 25 year old vehicle that got scraped along the passenger side by a concrete pillar. It was a mix of deep and shallower scratches. Due to the vehicle's age, I didn't want to spend big $ fixing it but was hoping to reduce the appearance of the scrape. This did the trick! Shallow scratches came out almost immediately with just the use of a little of the compound and the microfiber rag. For deeper scratches, I used the pad attached to a drill and some patience. I spent an hour going back and forth over the scratches and maybe used ~1/3-1/2 of the bottle before calling it good. It didn't completely erase the deeper scratches (I wasn't expecting it to), but it smoothed them out so they aren't as visible. I am very happy with the results. For the $15-20 I spent on this kit, I'd absolutely say it's worth it.

I gave it a 3 having not actually used it because I feel like it misrepresented its use. I bought it for chips in the paint on the front bumper of my Tesla. When I received it I read this statement on the back: “Kit limitations: Generally, if you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it’s likely too deep to be erased with this kit and will require professional repair to replace the lost clear coat/paint material.” I wish this was mentioned somewhere in the Amazon description, and I would not have bought it. So, in fairness, it may work great for removing paint or material that has been scratched ONTO your car, but do not get it expecting it to fix scratches IN your cars own paint. I may keep it for the drill bit to try if/when I need to remove scuffs on the paint. Side note, I would say the same about the “All Cars Magic Pen” (no magic at all if the scratch is in your paint).

I rarely write product reviews but this product works! Some boxes fell on the side of my car and I have been having some color scratches, back in the time I used to pay $15 for the car wash place to smooth out one scratch, with this bottle I was able to clean out light scratches and some extreme resistance dirt from the surface! I am amazed.

I don’t write reviews often, but wow does this product deserve its 5 stars! It’s only meant for surface scuffs, but it did pretty amazing against the oopsie I had against a cement wall. It definitely doesn’t get it all out, but it removed a good chunk of the damage and made it look a little better. It was very easy to use and attach to my drill. I used it to get some other surface scratches I had around my car too and it took those out completely. I unfortunately didn’t take before photos of the little scuffs, but they’re 100% gone. I highly recommend this product.

I used this on a long scratch on the side of my car made by a piece of wire that was tied to a tree. I didn't see the wire, but the scratch was VERY visible and looked deep. I thought I'd have to take it to get it painted. But I decided to try this first. This made the scratch almost invisible! I followed the instructions on the box. The box is kinda big for the few items in it, and the bottle is nowhere near the size it appears on the box. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars. My wife even thought it was gone when she looked at it after I finished. I'm going to go over the scratch again soon, but you have to get up real close to see what's left of the scratch. Definitely recommend.

Wanted to post a review immediately after I tried the product (after watching the video on how to use it), hence here it goes. It is the best product and reviews look authentic as the scratches which had become a sore in my eyes as whenever I looked at them due to the location, well guess what, they are gone, thanks to this amazing product, would like clarify thought, they were not felt as being there with the nail, only surface scratches for which this product was mentioned for. Highly recommended for a DIY scratch removing experience.
