Stay Classy
The Limited Edition Soundlink2 in White is absolutely gorgeous. The front grill on the Limited Edition has a spotted pattern that is different than the other two versions. It adds an additional bit of sophistication to an already solidly designed product. The front leather cover folds under the Soundlink to create a stand. This actually works unexpectedly well. On the limited edition, the cover is a beautiful combination of white leather with an Hermes orange backing. (Definitely wife approved)There are six buttons at the top: Power, Aux (for the auxiliary in), Bluetooth, Mute, Volume Up, and Volume Down. The buttons have a solid feel and satisfying "click" when depressed. Low battery notifications and Bluetooth connectivity symbols are shown on its mirrored bezel. These symbols are only displayed when the unit is on...another nice touch.Ok, enough about the looks. After all, it doesn't matter how something looks if it doesn't work! My biggest annoyance with our previous Airplay speaker was that it wasn't portable (because airplay is wifi based) and that it randomly cut out when we played music from our IOS devices/laptops. However was a bit apprehensive about going to bluetooth because of all the mentions online about A2DP not being able to support uncompressed audio. However in retrospect, I feel rather silly. When it comes to small portable speakers, you're really splitting hairs when looking for the the difference between compressed and uncompressed formats. If you can hear the different, then you probably shouldn't be using this speaker in the first place...you should be listening to it on your $10,000 home theater system complete with vacuum tube amplifiers :).In my opinion the Soundlink2 speakers sound excellent. The music has a "clarity" to it from the balanced highs/mid tones. It does however skew a bit towards being a bit heavy on the bass (typical bose). The Soundlink2 paired effortlessly with our ios devices and laptops. It remember the last 6 devices it was paired with so you don't need to re-pair it every single time you want to use a different device.Overall, very happy with this!

Handy, Cool, Great Sound in a Teeny-Tiny Package, One of the best 'Repeat Use' products yet
Great product. And very Handy too. Quality sound travels with you everywhere you go.Pairs with devices very easily and auto-re-pairing also works beautifully. It isn't exactly the best sound that I have heard but then for the little package it comes in, I have yet to hear better.Decent battery life. Highly recommend this product - very good buy. It does NOT disappoint at all but could be better.-1 star because :a. volume controls not very responsiveb. a remote control would have been cool; especially a mobile app remote control.~g

It's everything you've read about and more....minus one little thing
There really isn't much more to say about this amazing little speaker that hasn't already been said. While all the reviews I have read are only from users that were listening to music, my situation and the reason I bought this speaker, is because I travel a lot and I wanted something that I could get good sound out of while watching movies on my laptop. Lets be honest, pretty much all laptop speakers are horrible.I have a ton of movies on storage and DVD and the SoundLink helps give me some good quality sound when on the road or in my apartment room. And yes...I definitely listen to music on it as well!As Bose recommends and others have posted, it really helps to position the speaker against a wall, in a cabinet or cubby, or anywhere that will help the bass response and rear sound to project fuller. I will try to attach a picture of the cabinet I have mine placed in. It is a basic TV cabinet stand that works out perfectly! When I play this little sucker my friends are amazed and can not believe the rich, clear, and deep sound that comes from this one mobile speaker.A personal note on battery life- I have been getting an average of about 2.5-3hrs play time at just above average volume when running on battery power. Obviously the speaker has an AC plug that can remain plugged into the unit if so desired. My one minus....it needs to come with a remote. For the price Bose should be able to include a small flat IR remote that would allow us lazy people when lying on the bed or where ever to adjust the volume without having to get up. Other then that...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BLUETOOTH SPEAKER FOR MANY LISTENING USES!

Very disappointing - blue tooth cuts out and difficult to switch between devices - expensive non-wireless wireless speaker
We bought this product after having had such a good experience with the Bose SoundDock, and were attracted to the ability to go wireless. We have been extremely disappointed for two reasons i) the blue tooth connection is jumpy, even when our iPhone 5S is right beside the speaker; ii) my wife and I both have iPhones and frequently want to switch from one device to the other. It turns out its isn't possible for one device to simply connect to the speaker - the only way we have been able to consistently do this is by resetting the system each time (by pressing and holding the blue tooth button for 10 sec.The only reason I give this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the sound quality is pretty good - I basically use it now as a computer speaker, using the 3.5mm jack at the back of the speaker, but essentially we paid a high price for a non-wireless wireless speaker.
