This is exactly what I needed to fix my old novelty kit clock. It's very easy to install, and I like that it doesn't make a ticking sound. I couldn't use the original minute/hour hands that came with my clock, but the ones I selected for this movement look fine. I was able to use my original second hand which made me happy. It did take a little fiddling with the second hand - if you put it on too tightly the movement doesn't move correctly. But it seems to keep perfect time. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The movement worked great for almost two months, it has stopped working, no warrantee, not what I would call a good deal.

This is a life saver for my peace and tranquility in the living room and bedroom! I was going nuts with the clicking sound of my clocks and didn't want to have to buy new ones because I really like my decorative clocks.This not only took care of the problem, but it saved me from having to start all over again looking for clocks to go with my rooms, not to mention the money that the new silent mode clocks cost today. Item arrived a little over a week early and was well packaged. It was better quality than I expected in fact I would rate it very good quality overall and I'm very pleased. Clock movement is absolutely silent and smooth. Thank you for supplying a quality product! I may pick up another to silence another nighttime noisy clock!

I purchased two other quartz movement clocks and they were so loud. I was hesitant to buy another but after reading the reviews I thought I’d give it another try. This was perfect. Nice selection of clock hands and colors. The instructions were ok. If one nut doesn’t fit, use the other! Love the sweeping motion and there is no sound!
