There are plenty of positive reviews of these quilt sets already so I might not have written a review if my experience was not so contrary to that of the reviewer whose critique is the first one listed (at least on 1/31/21). This reviewer finds fault with the workmanship and the colors and considers the throw pillows just adequate.Let me explain why I disagree with those assessments. But first, let me explain that my assessment is based on two of these sets. When I was looking at the sets available on Amazon, I came across the Yosemite option which I have owned for a while (probably six years but I can’t remember exactly). I have so loved this set that I clicked to see if other options were available. To my delight, I saw the Malone pattern and knew my search was over. I had not only found the colors and pattern I have looked for in vain for three years, but I had found a company that I trust.My Yosemite set has served me well these ~six years. In fact, after multiple washings and constant use, the quilt looks new, other than a few spots when my cat with claws pulled a thread. Considering that this cat sleeps on this bed every night, it speak to the quality that there aren’t pulled threads all over. Clearly, I still love this set and it will make return appearances on my bed. I just wanted a change—one, in particular, that would have more green to connect with the pale green I painted my new bedroom three years ago.When the Malone arrived and I put it on the bed, I knew that I was correct in believing in this company. It reflects every bit of the same craftsmanship that I have found with the Yosemite. Here’s just one example: when the material for the shams was cut, attention was paid so that that the shams would match perfectly. It much like when you see a patterned shirt in a store and no effort was made to line up the design at the seams: you know it was cheaply made in terms of time and fabric since there’s more waste in fabric when designs are matched. You do have to pay more for a plaid shirt with matching seams, but it’s fully worth it, as is the case here.Now, in terms of the color issue the reviewer raised, I will say that I have three electronic screens that I can view product displays on..a phone, an iPad and a computer. The colors look different on each one. (I have discovered over time that the iPad is the most reliable.) If you look at all the product photos in the display, you will see some variation, perhaps because the photos were taken in different kinds of light. In terms of the two quilt sets I own, I found the colors in person and on-screen to match the second large photo in each display. (The first photo of the Malone makes the back color look like a light sky blue whereas the second one—the accurate one for me— is a light turquoise.)Finally in reference to the throw pillows, I find them far more than adequate. They exhibit the kind of fabric coordination and detailed finishing that you rarely find in sets that I can afford. The photos provided in the product display don’t really show the tucks and piping as well as intricate embroidery, so I’ve included a few shots that make this more evident.In short, as you’ve probably noticed, I’m a big fan of this company and these two quilt sets. (Actually, I like the third option a great deal, too, but the bedding in my second bedroom is too new to replace!) One reviewer indicated that she plans to use her quilt in the spring and summer since it’s is lightweight. I do agree that it isn’t as heavy as my grandmother’s quilts were, but I use mine year round with just a blanket added in winter. I stay plenty warm even though the thermostat is set at 61 degrees at night.

Looks great with great colors! The pillows are not as fluffy as I thought they would be. I think some of the colors also ran a little bit with the first wash, but it’s only in one spot on a pillow sham and is not super noticeable. Very comfy and not super warm which is what we wanted for our southwestern guest room.

The queen size is perfect for my RV king bed. Love the colors and throw pillows!

I like the color of the southwestern. I used to cover my California king size bed. It’s not too heavy. Can use it in the summer fall or winter.

Love the colors. Glad the coloring was more teal as I suspected by pics instead of the Titled Blue. Closer to Teal green than Teal Blue . Heavier quilt than expected but fine that it is .Shipped 3 days earlier than was expecting. Unable to add pics I had -as app not working correctly to add. Unsure of the craftsmanship as I have not laundered yet. Pleased so far with the appearance of the product. Happy the 3 accent pillows were pre- filled with stuffing as well. Very satisfied so far …

We got this for our western themed guest room. The colors are great and it’s light and drapes nice. King set is great. Love the accent pillows. No filling to get lumpy when washed. The stitching and edges look great. I love this set and would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful coverlet. It is lightweight and exactly what I was looking for. The picture shows it more like a comforter thickness but a coverlet is normally used to place over thicker beadspreads but can be used to stand alone. I was also a little bummed when I first opened the box seeing that the colors were darker than first thought but it fits my bedroom color very nicely. I ordered the King for my Queen bed based on other feedback and I am glad I did. I don't use a bedskirt and I wanted to make sure the box springs were not showing. I placed my coverlet with the stripes going vertical and it fits exactly how I wanted it. Mine is more for decor purposes so I do not intend on washing it often as it will be removed while we are sleeping.The pillows have beautiful stitching and I don't see any flaws, they too will be used for decor purposes only so I don't foresee the need to wash this set. Although the shams are for King pillows (since I bought the King) I will just place them on king pillows and fit them to my queen bed with no problems. Very excited to see this set all put together. I have also included a photo of how it have it on my Queen and the colors are true to the photo I took. As stated earlier, they are much darker than the stock photo shows. There is a dark, almost brick red but it works with the rust drapes I have in my bedroom. Even though my room is teal, the turquoise in it makes it pop. I absolutely love this set!

Great comforter, just what I was looking for. I'm here to buy a replacement one for my original I bought 2 years ago. I have dogs and babysit dogs so it took some wear and tear.Only issues I had with it is the stitching can come apart underneath the blanket but I just cut the loose strings and burn off the end. It's on the thin side but it still keeps me warm.Great comforter, this is the first time I am buying a repeat one!

Great quality on the pillow covers and blanket. The light toned parts are more than than in the photo but overall nice. The quality on the decorative pillows is a little lower but still looks good all together!

Coordinates perfectly with the colour of our room! (I don't like the paint colour - I didn't choose it - but with this quilt, I actually enjoy the look of the room now.) It's nice to the touch, however, if you try to use it while sleeping, it slides off the bed easily - the backing is slippery. Oh well. If it stayed put, I would have given it 5 stars.

I've tried 4 other different quilts over the past 6months... There was always something that wasn't right about them so i sent them all back.. I always had an issue with anything microfibre since it was 1st introduced to the world but i really liked the patterns & colors of this one, read the comments & took a chance. Got the quilt yesterday, it was just as nice as seen & described & looks great on my bed...(1 of the pillows has a strange mark on it but it's not enough that i want to send this one back too...) I took it off as i still have to wash it before i use it but i have a good feeling that this will be the one;-) Good luck & stay safe in this crazy world we live in...

price was great! shipping was super fast, arrived safely, quality feels good, nice and soft. it is a little bit more on the red side of the brown tones than pictures show, but still looks great. i bought the king size for my queen bed so it would drape to the floor and hide box springs/ frame etc, it does that very well, will see how it washes when the time comes. but i am pleased with it!
