Fascinating history
This wasa great book to give to someone local to Salford and Manchester who lived through the period. My uncle found the book fascinating and said it made him feel a nostalgic and happy to see pictures of the places he had been.

Fascinating
This book is great if you are nostalgic about this period of Manchester history, as I am. Great to see again the streets and people I grew up with. I definitely recommend it

Great Book
Shirley Bakers work is well documented and often comes at a price. This book is a great diary of her work and at a good price. Well recommended.

Great book about the streets of Manchester back in the 60s
Great book about the streets of Manchester back in the 60s and to boot there is three pictures of me in it. If you lived in Manchester in the 60s I would seriously recommend.

It makes you value what you have todsy
A gift for someone, I've never been to Manchester, but the photos are delightful. Hard to believe this was Britain whilst I was growing up.

Wonderful little book
This is a wonderful little book and a fascinating look into the lives of people in the Manchester area in the not too distant past. The book and therefore the pictures are a little smaller than I was expecting and I think the print quality could be slightly better. Overall though, I am happy with it.

Extremely poor quality
The quality of the reproduction is abysmal. For an idea of how bad it is, Shutterfly and Kodak Moments are lightyears better for reproducing photographs and that’s something anyone can do with their own photographs at the drugstore or Target!! Why was this very poor quality reproduction of Shirley Baker’s wonderful photographs allowed to happen? What a shame.
