Quality look and feel at a very reasonable price
A quality shirt at an excellent price. Looks great and feels great. The material is thick, yet feels light and airy. And the fit is true to size.

Good Product - Great Value - Would buy again
I bought this shirt and a GoodThreads shirt. This review was written for the GoodThreads shirt but also this Amazon Essentials. A comparison. See bottom of what follows. I recommend this Amazon Essentials shirt if you're OK with plaid.GoodThreads Shirt:Bottom line is I was pleasantly surprise with the quality of this shirt. I was looking for a solid orangish-yellow for fall color. Very good material and craftsmanship. Material is soft and strong almost like a "flannel light weight canvas". I'm about 6'1" and 164 pounds, with little muscle tone and/or body fat. The only negative comment is the sleeve diameter is a little tight given the body diameter on the XL size I bought. it's OK, just, I wish the body diameter was a little tighter. If you're heavier around the middle, the fit would be better. Shirt body length should be an inch longer for me. Sleeve length right on. The color wasn't available in tall size. But, it is very hard to find brighter solid colors. If you want solid color, give this a try.Amazon Essentials Shirt (this shirt):I also bought the Amazon Essential plaid in a yellow/black. That shirt has a better sleeve to body diameter ratio for me and is the typical flannel material. Shirt body length should be an inch longer for me. Sleeve length right on. I rate the A.E. shirt 5 star for a flannel plaid-for the money. Both are very good value. The Goodthreads shirt was a few more dollars but the material is better. This A.E. shirt offered a better color selection than what I could find in local stores. The A.E. shirt is a good value for a light weight plaid flannel.I have washed both shirts and observed no shrinkage. You must take out of dryer and hang on hangers right away, otherwise wrinkles.

Nice Shirt
Good quality shirt, fits as advertised and colors and patterns are nice looking. Can be worn win nice jeans or just out running errands. Has not faded or shrunk after washing but I do hang dry.

Great Value, Decent Quality.
The shirt fits well, feels comfortable and for the price paid I would say is an excellent value. The material is a lighter fabric, so this is not a thick heavy flannel shirt which I figured for the price paid. Overall, I like it and would buy it again. Double buttons on the cuffs.

I am wearing this one today
This shirt is a bit heavier than what is normally passed off as a flannel shirt, it is pretty warm, nice, and soft and has held up through a few wash cycles without shrinking or fraying. Nice enough to wear to town and warm and durable enough to wear all day at work, and the price was right. I wish I had bought a couple more.

Nice shirt
I like wearing flannel shirts around the house in the winter. They're warm and cozy, soft, and something casual. This was my first time buying from Amazon's line of clothing. I was deciding between the Medium and the Large. I've always worn medium. I'm 5'11" and weigh around 190 pounds right now. I chose the large for two reasons: I have broad shoulders and I'm tired of medium shirt sleeves falling short of my wrist. I'm glad I got the large, but it's not a perfect fit; it's a comfortable, casual fit. Before I washed it I was tempted to send it back for a medium. But flannel shrinks, so I thought, what the heck, let's give it a shot for $15. The chest was pretty big and the shirt looked kind of boxy on me, the sleeves were plenty long: they came down to the middle knuckle on my thumb. After washing (and drying it in a dryer) it, I'm really glad I didn't send it back for a medium. The chest feels about right, albeit a bit too roomy in the armpit area, and it's still a little boxy (nothing short of a tailor can fix it), but it's comfortable for lounging. The shirt length is spot on. And the sleeves shrunk about a whole inch! They come just to my wrist now. It's a comfortable shirt. It's heavy and kind of thick, will be warm I think. It's not a tailored fit, but you don't buy flannel to look dressy. If you're shorter than I am, a medium will probably fit you just fine. If you don't put it in a dryer, a medium will still probably do you just fine if you are my height. I think I could comfortably (although I don't plan on it!) gain 10-20 pounds and still have the large fit me. If I were 10-20 pounds lighter I probably would have bought the medium and just line-dried it, but the sleeve length would be a gamble; I may have bought a different shirt instead. All in all recommended. I'd buy another one.

Comfortable shirt but lacks durability.
It's a comfortable and well fitting shirt; I love the cut and look of it. After a few months, the stitches near the cuff button tore, so be aware of this if you roll up your sleeves and have larger forearms. I wish I could get a replacement, it's a good shirt!
