TINGLEYMen's Commuter Stretch Overshoe

Why would anyone either (A) STRUGGLE with 'rubbers" that cover the whole shoe and look dorky when it's the soles and where the soles meet the uppers that need the protection or (B) wear no "protection" and wreck a $100-200 pair of shoes in one commute in the rain snow and salt! These rubbers are the perfect answer...frankly I'd like to buy the company because I think Tingley is missing the boat by not marketing these effectively....And if I did own the company I would make an important design tweak. Here is the deal: They wear out at the back of the heal...especially if you buy them too small (don't buy them too small). I would reinforce the back of the heal with more rubber at the very back bottom and up the back. I would also imbed a small piece of harder plastic into the heal that was an "L" shape that would keep the back of the rubber from sliding under the heal...which is what causes the wear-through that will cause you to have to throw them away as that hole makes them useless. If Tingley did that, they would be five star plus ...and with better marketing they could sell the h--- out of them.Despite the design improvement suggestion these things are a MUST HAVE for anyone who wears leather shoes for work or leisure who doesn't want to waste money buying new shoes after the storm or walk around in weather-abused shoes that look like crap.(Feel free to call me Tingley for more details, I like old line family owned companies like you guys and would like to see you do well)

These look like clown shoes. They are way bigger than they say and therefore constantly falling off. I’m very disappointed as these would work if they were true to size :( i got the smallest size they make

I purchased mine long before they were available on Amazon. I wear them over my dance shoes so that I can walk around off the dance floor, even in wet parking lots, and not damage the suede soles of my dance shoes. I selected a size that was not tight for ease of use, but that meant that they would occasionally slip off. To correct this, I made a band of 1” elastic that fits around my foot at the instep, keeping them secure while walking but easy to remove. They are especially useful on cruise ships. Still good as new after 20+ years. Highly recommended.

Overall, poor design. #1, They do not fit and tend to slip off, requiring me to pull them back up/on continuously. #2, They do not provide adequate coverage over the top of the shoe.

Picture and sizing for this Men's Commuter Stretch Overshoe is for a women's boot! Please correct this apparent mis-match of this product.
