Stylish and functional digital watch.
Fast take:- Looks great- Easy to read, lighting is pretty good- Feels great on my wrist- Durable- Fantastic priceI recently rekindled my love for watches. I have a 300 dollar Tissot, 40 dollar Timex watches, and now this great value watch. This is my new everyday watch that I can wear to work (I work as a biomed technician) and at home.Easy to read and very easy to set it up with some quick glance in the manual. Lighting is good, I'd say 7/10 in low light conditions. Bumps up to 10/10 in pitch black. I don't use other functions other than the date and time as I will still use my phone for stop timer, alarms, etc as it's just easier to utilize the phone for them, you'll free up your hands as well. In any case, great that this watch has them. The band is surprisingly comfortable, I won't change the band at as I found that it suits my activities quite well. I can clean this watch with soap and running water, something I'll never do with my other watches. While I'm inherently careful with my watches, I don't have to worry about this one as it is the most durable watch I own (that is until I get a G-shock down the line). The price. You can get any cheap watch in the same price range, but you won't find anything with this much value. It's cheaper than an afternoon lunch, and it'll last you for many years. I like this watch very much and I know you'll like it to. Just buy it already lol.

A better Casio digital watch
I don't define myself by what I own or wear. That stuff is to serve me; I'm not its advertisement.I needed a replacement for a Casio electic analog cakendar watch that sits on my dresser ticking away with a broken strap. A replacement strap costs more than half the cost of the watch.I wrote down what didn't Iike about it. The proprietary band design was number one and negated the value of a 10 year battery. ( I still have a 1980s Casio digital on a replacement band. I replaced it when the calendar wouldn't auto update. )It had large hands I could easily see in low lighting but were impossible to see in the dark. It had a larger than needed domed plastic lens with large white patches at the sides that got a chip on the edge within a week of wear and many scratches soon after. It had a crown recessed within guard bars that made it difficult to re-set the time. It looked cheap.I liked its size, light weight,wr rating, battery life. So I looked forCasio watches that had everything I iiked, nothing I disliked and had prices under $30- twice the cost of the analog.I didn't want anything cheap looking or unweidy I didn't want a case that had high contrast white areas around the perimeter, especially not redundant ones, I couldn't remember what 4 buttons did. It would be nice to have at least one alarm,3 would be nicer.I needed a band that was either metal or with a standard width so WHEN it breaks long before the battery wears out, it could be replaced with better ine that would outlast the watch. Size was important. I have a boney 7-1/2" wrist. If a watch had an error of a 2 minutes in 6 month, itks good enough. It didn't need to be mutilzone or set setting. Size was important. I have boney 7-1/2" wrists.I needed a watch that I could wear 24x7 anywhere, for dress or casual, was easy to use and didn't draw attention to itself., and didn't look cheap if someone saw it. All that came close were digital non-sports watches. The trick was finding the model with the most necessary and useful features for the price. The W800 series does. It's lightweight, approximately the same thickness as my previous watch. Its stepped case seems more likely to deflect a striking object. from hitting the lens. The flat lens makes it possible to apply a screen protector film. It has is a display that's cleanly organized, easy to read at day and possible to read the time at night, a 10 year battery, and a 10 bar static pressure rating. The lugs 18mm apart and would work with many standard bands. The outer case has only one word that's recess-molded in it. It has an alarm. The only thing it's missing, like too many battery watches, is the battery type engraved on the caseback. I won't have the manual in 7 years, and it would be nice to be able to order a new battery before opening the case.Given the price and how well it does everything else, I can live without those features. I bought the grey metallic W800HG-9AV, which looks like sandblasted titianium. I'm very happy I did.

Simple, basic, easy to read watch. Its a bit bigger and thicker than expected. Works well. Wish it is 200 m water resist.

Excellent
Lately, I've been on a nostalgia kick, purchasing watches (mostly Casios) that I had as a kid/teenager/20s where they still make them or current ones that look very similar to old ones. However, I then realized that my eyesight must've been a lot better when I was a kid because many of the watches that were easy to read when I was a kid were now hard to read due to being too small. This particular W800HG-9AV watch appeared to have bigger text so I ordered it even though it really had no nostalgic value, and I'm glad I did. This watch is super easy to read. The text and numbers are nice and big and close enough to the crystal that they are exceptionally clear. The watch is also nice and light and very comfortable to wear. Highly recommend this watch.

Great digital watch and inexpensive
I have an old Fitbit Blaze that I got several years ago and three of the four buttons in it have come out and are non-replaceable and that also means it won't sit in the frame correctly. I've been on the hunt for a suitable replacement and found it with this watch. I wanted something simple and functional and provided the only service I really need....displaying the time. I am not willing to drop $250+ on another smart watch. I'm tired of having to remember to charge it every few days and it's nice to not have yet another smart device to compete for my attention. This watch is simple and the display has a very good contrast and unless the room I'm in has very dim light, I can still read the display without needing the backlight. This watch is a little smaller than my Fitbit Blaze, but not enough so that it feels dainty. The one thing I'm leery about is the watch band. It feels very stiff and I have no doubt that it will eventually break at some point. However, I liked this watch so much and the price is so great that I ordered the same watch in the dark green color. That way I have a backup if something happens to this one. Plus, it does feel a bit nostalgic to be rocking an old-school digital watch again since I grew up wearing those. It's a simple timepiece, but that's all I need.

Easy to read especially in 24 hour mode
I bought it for myself. It’s easy to set up. Haven’t had a digital watch for years. My previous watch was getting to difficult to alter the time by the winder and was losing time.
