I got this product for my son who is a wrestler. He has a history of getting nose bleeds from those oh so tender cross faces.The first time we actually used this was at a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu class and it was simply amazing. He opened it, gave it a twist, folded it in half and inserted in his nose. Within a couple seconds, he said he felt it swelling up and putting pressure on his nose. Within those same couple seconds his nose bleed stopped faster than turning off a sink tap.He left it in for only a few minutes but during that time he could go back to competing and didn't worry about the plug coming loose, over filling or anything. Upon removal there wasn't the normal scab tear or slight leakage that is normal from the nose "tampon" cotton plugs.Yes these cost a little bit but if your using them during any sport they are worth their weight in gold and normal nose bleeds these help prevent that big tissue booger.Finally these can be used to stop bleeding on minor cuts also.Even with wrestling season winding down I'm still buying another box or two for Jiu-jitsu and my first aid kit.

My kids occasionally experience nose bleeding. They don’t like me putting ice pack over their nose bridge. This sterile packing is very useful to help to stop the bleeding. But it’s a little too thick because kids nostrils are small. I always need to break a single packing into half before applying it. I can see it’s good for adults to use it. But, for kids, I think it will be better they can make it thinner, so I don’t need to break it apart.

It's true, wherever I am, Bleedcease is nearby. Very often I get seriously fast and heavy nosebleeds. They come on so fast and there's never enough time to get to the medicine cabinet looking for the Bleedcease. So I place them in various spots around the house, ready for use.

We bought them for our young childrens' nosebleeds (age 5 and 3). The gauzes don't go into the nose easily, they don't help the bleed clot fast enough to prevent the blood from saturating the gauze pad and then dripping blood. The kids don't like the feeling of this product. I wish that the Quick Seal Noseplugs were in stock -- I'd buy those again.

Started taking blood thinners. Wanted something on hand in case of a nose bleed. Says you have to roll up the bandage and stick it up your nose. Didn't say which side out. Not what I would want to use for a nose bleed. I think it is more for other injuries. They just added on nose bleeds. Had already purchased wound seal for that.

I have a rare genetic bleeding condition called HHT. This is the second time ordering and I count every bleed cease because I bag them separate for car, purse, and school because my daughter has the same condition. This time I was shorted 2 last time I was shorted 5 Opened the Amazon bag this morning and the box wasn’t sealed. Now with that being said the product itself is great but better to buy from the company directly then on Amazon.
