Love them....
I use these as a replacement for the (apparently) discontinued brown Tyvek envelopes. But these things NEVER let me down no matter WHAT the post office tries to do to them. Spend the money and go Tyvek!

Great for Shipping & cheaper than a box and a good bargain
Wish I had gotten some larger ones too. Cheaper costs for pkg. mailing. Post office doesn't always have these much anymore.A box full is a great buy. (9 x 12) was a great size, now what I need are the largest ones they have.pkg. are so expensive to send anymore that the Tyvek envelopes are wonderful. They stay shut and won't rip apart & once sealed they onlycan be opened by scissors they are that strong, superman style is what they are. :) The best thing since bubblegum :)

Perfect for mailing shirts
I recently began selling my old stuff online. I purchased these envelopes for mailing shirts to my buyers. They work perfectly for this!The envelopes seem kinda thin. Light does shine through, and you can almost see what's inside. However, there is just enough security not to be able to read the packing slips inside. The Tyvek is much stronger than you would think.The envelopes have a peel-off protector to expose the adhesive flap. Where you are supposed to stick the flap has a perforated section for easy opening. I do not trust this perforated strip to stay shut during shipping, so I always stick the flap further down on the envelope.I will buy these envelopes again when I run out.

great envelopes
Bought these specifically to reinforce the inside of spines from old hardcover books to make junk journals. Much better than tyvek plastic tape rolls. It takes the color of ink perfectly also. This box will last me a long time.

Very tough envelope!
I used them to mail material in presentation folders. These envelopes do not tear easily. Yet they can be opened easily when they need to be opened.
