I bought these for the golden Easter egg hunt for 6 neighborhood kids. The ages ranging from 4-10. Very easy to use, great fun for the kids. I can easily say they were put through the kid test and held up without issues. Buttons are easy to maneuver and understand. They can’t wait to take them camping.

I bought this as a gift for my sons friend. As I was initially very disappointed with the quality of the product, I am increasing the rating to 4 stars related to the customer service. When first opening, the product appears cheaply made, and I would have been embarrassed to give as a gift in the box the toy was sent in. The product did not seem to have the range as stated in the description, and for the amount of money, I was expecting the product to be re-chargeable without purchasing additional items (cord and rechargeable batteries). With my disposable batteries, the battery life is about 30mins with the kids on them constantly. Customer service had seen my initial review and they were excellent. They offered to send new walkie-talkies with charging cord and batteries or send me a refund. they were very quick to respond, very polite, and easy to work with.

I chose these because they were advertised as having a 4-mile range, which proved to be false (3 miles is stated on the box). Also, while they claim these are for 3-years and up, my very bright 3-year-old nephew had trouble remembering to hold the button, etc. They are very cute and appear to be of good quality and function well, so I hope he'll be enjoying them in years to come.

Grandkiddies love them....they have had more fun...even my daughter played with them at the store...lol

I bought my grandson a set of these for Christmas. They seem to be sturdy enough. The don't feel cheap. He and I tested them out the other day when I walked to my mothers house, who lives up the street from us. Has a pretty good range on them. Did not lose any signal at all.
