I first discovered Wurse sauce 45 years ago on my first visit to Germany where in most restaurants it has pride of place on the table with the condiments just like ketchup has here. Then every time I visited I brought another bottle, fortunately I discovered it on Amazon as it is very rare in our Midwest stores.It is great seasoning steak for the barbie and in stews and meat dishes with its distinct flavor.

Tastes great. I use it mainly for weise bohnen eintopf.

I grew up in Germany and have never liked the salad dressings avail in stores- too high in calories,.. I rather use the ingredients I grew up with and make my own ! Love my Maggi and it’s not just for salads !

I always heard it was different, so thought I'd give it a try. It does seem to have more of a depth to it, and possibly a little different consistency. Seems to hold up better with heat.
