This elderberry extract is of good quality! I've used it in some of my homemade health supplements, including my recent Antiviral/Antibiotic Immune Boost Herbal Supplement. I bought a package last winter to get me through the cold and flu season. I followed the recommended dosage on the package and never even had a sniffle all winter long. I believe that this definitely helped boost my immune system so I ordered another package for this winter. Love the powder as it is so easy to store, mix and drink.

Loved finding an elderberry supplement that won't break the bank, or be full of super sweetness! Having multiple people using elderberry in the winter had sent me on a search for the solutions to these issues. Every other product was used up too quickly. So glad I found this. It is a very fine powder, and I ended up storing it in a couple jars - to better preserve the quantity, and to avoid spilling the whole bag. It does not dissolve as easily as I would like. I portion it out ahead of time and mix twice. Not sure what would help this. But it works and I'll use it as long as I can.

If you like the flavor of black elderberry, it tastes good, mixes easily in water. But I got it because of the fruits, black elderberry has the highest amount of C3G. C3G is suppose to be good for your eyes and high enough amounts of C3G is suppose to partition nutrients. That should help with blood sugar and shuttle more nutrients into you muscle and less into your fat cells. It did make me leaner. I'm sticking with it for the way it helps the eyes. C3G as a stand alone supplement is more expensive.

This extract creates an excellent taste if mixed with other berry powders.

I buy from this seller because they have good products at good prices, no additives. Item has the right color and taste, bought for smoothies and syrups because premade liquids in store have so much other stuff including waaaay too much sugar. At 6:1 concentration, less to use than storemade juice and most syrups. And they use Sambucus Nigra, the most potent plant variety. Planted six bushes last summer, but will be awhile before big enough to start getting sizable harvests, glad to find this until then!
