Sturdy & Transparent!
My mom & I used these for a project we did for her church's daycare. We used these tabbed sheet protectors to act as dividers in the binders we created, making it easier for people to find the section they wanted. They were slightly more difficult to get the paper into, because they are stiffer than your general sheet protectors. But that's a good thing. I'd much rather have the strength and durability on the pages that will get the most wear & tear.Since these binders have just been created, I don't know how well they'll hold up over time, but if we run into any problems, I'll update my rating.Overall, a great buy. When - and IF I need to get more, I would definitely buy these again.

Avery Sheet Protecter Indext Tabs
I love these sheet protector index tabs. I originally bought these sheet protector tabs for my husband's portfolio binder. They were perfect. The binder had several sections and within each section there were catagories. These sheet protectors provided the proper organization for the sections and I used smaller plain Avery index tabs for the minor catagories. They provided appropriate coverage for each secion and I was able to provide each section with its own mult-category organization with proper coverage.I also revisted this organizational process for my own teacher portfolio. I needed four sections with minor catagories for each secion. I also used additional Avery products to give better organization for the catagories. The sheet protectors come in pastels and bright colors. The sheet protectors allow you to use personal artwork for each section and the tabs are appropriate for computer printing. Like most Avery products, you can go onto their website to download the proper printing layout for a more professional look.

Tabs don’t show past the binder
Needed this for a recipe binder where everything is in sheet protectors. These divide and provide a tab, that does not show when binder is closed, like so many others. I like the colored option tabs, as well. Great product!

Non bulky way to add separation of pages in protectors
This is my Prefered way to add dividers when using sheet protectors. The tabs are constructed as part of the page proctor rather the being stuck on. I find this less likely to separate from the divider. The tabs do not stick out very far. I like that as binders rely do not have a lot of extra space. Slip a piece of card stock in for stability and you are ready to label!

Good quality, how about making a binder too Avery?
Used these for a portfolio since put other pages in sheet protectors and regular tabs were too short. These tabs are pretty thick and I like that it is still a sheet protector to add a page for the chapter. The tab template was easy to find, but the template was a little confusing on which lines were the text lines. The only other thing that I wasn't happy about wasn't really anything with the tabs, but there aren't 3-ring binders that will cover these tabs since they go out farther. I found one binder that kind of worked since I had already put the time into the project, but had I known ahead of time I might not have used sheet protectors and these tabs.

Works for couponing!
I bought these to go into my coupon binder. I would HIGHLY recommend them! They poke out far enough that I can read the tabs even though I have sheet protectors and card holders. I do have to say that the initial set up is pretty brutal. It took me awhile to get the paper into the tabs. But the final result is very worth it. The tabs do snag a bit when I zip up the binder. But with a little shuffling around it closes up just fine.

Tabs visible for those using sheet protectors.
These are sheet protectors with a tab. They are great if you use sheet protectors and want to have dividers to put your three ring binder in sections. The tabs on dividers normally used in a three ring binder disappear when you use clear sheet protectors. The label these you can use the included multi-colored tabs. In the product photo the colored stripe along the right hand side that are Yellow, Tan, Orange, Pink, Purple, Green, etc. are actually the tab inserts. The labels are 1.4 inches in length. These sheets no only extend the tabs beyond sheet protectors they also have a pocket to insert a 8.5 x 11 inch sheet, which are great to put sheets in that you are going to scan, or sort and categorize later.Only downside I found is not an issue with the product, but I wanted to have a longer tab. These are 8 tab. I will be checking to see if Avery makes a 5 or 6 tab version. If you use sheet protectors these are answer to have your tabs extend beyond the page for visibility.

Had a REAL problem getting the inserts inserted!
Mostly, I like the product. While it seems a bit lightweight, it serves the purpose and is more flexible than the plastic divider pages (which might or might not be a feature). Whether these will hold up to significant handling remains to be seen. The matching number template that's available in Word does NOT position the text properly. Whether that's a problem with Avery's format or Word's is not known. It IS, however, tweakable - just remember to print test copies on plain paper before running the cardstock through. My biggest complaint?I'm having a BEASTLY time getting the small paper inserts into the plastic tabs. The tabs are an extension of the basic material, and have no easy way of opening the looped material. My solution is to carefully insert a knife blade enough to slide the tab in.I suspect I will be returning to oversize plastic dividers with stick-on labels.

Just What I Wanted
These are the perfect size dividers for a binder full of papers in page protectors. Nice heavy weight as well.

Good but….
Papers don’t quite fit, you have to trim the sides before you can insert them into the pouch.
