The Moon: From Inner Worlds to Outer Space Hardcover – October 23, 2018

I bought this book for an artist who has frequently used lunar images in her work sand she was delighted with the gift. The book is a catalogue of a current, critically acclaimed Danish exhibit.

This is in essence a decent book based on an exhibition of lunar inspired art. My reason for deducting a star is because although there a great deal of photos of the exhibits, the way they are catalogued is very confusing. All are listed in the index but no page numbers given. Likewise, there is no alphabetical index for the artists involved so if you know a specific artist is featured, even if you manage to find the picture of the exhibit/s there's no reference as to what page in the text they are mentioned or where their work is and so again you have to read everything until you find what you are looking for. I describe this as a book, as that is what you receive but what you actually have is an exhibition catalogue in the form of a book and a catalogue which hasn't really been complied very well in my opinion.
