the lids lift from the back to keep other critters from accessing the feed. This can make filling a challenge for those of us who have a hard time lifting and holding a 50lb feed bag for long. When these are mounted side by side it increases the difficulty. its a good product, just consider these points when you decide where to mount.

I had damage to mine when it came but that was handled. But as far as use its nice and easy to fill. I use it for my chickens. It makes a mess with the feed, the chickens can still get in it and scratch the feed out.

I got these in hopes that they wouldn’t be so messy. The chickens easily scratch feed out of these 😒 but good quality overall.
