Gorgeous knife with good, sharp blade
Wasn't expecting it to be as sharp as it is. Wanted a decent butter knife but this is that and more. Can't put it in the dishwasher but couldn't be without it so rinse and put away rather than having it out of action on a dishwasher cycle. Stylish and fab.

Just get one immediately, you will not be sorry
This perfectly designed, flexible knife revolutionises the task of spreading butter or jam or anything else onto bread or toast. It also has partially serrated blade for cutting.I could not now live without it and wish I had discovered this little gem years ago.Just get one immediately, you will not be sorry.

Bought one, then another three
No point and flat flexible(ish) straight blade so great for spreading butter and jam.Surprisingly sharp so will cut through a baguette (perhaps a day old) and a hard cave aged cheese (pressie from work) with ease, but no pointy tip like a steak knife.Lightweight but not too light (like a certain Swiss Army knife manufacturer’s tomato knife).Seems to be standing up to the dishwasher despite wooden handles with only a little discolouration.

Cuts through even cold butter and spreads well.
Good strong well built knife, serrated edge cuts butter easily and spreads well.

One of the most efficient small knives I own
Considering how light it is, this knife has a lot going for it, and I have already given one as a gift twice. The mini-serrated edge cuts bread, the sharper edge near the tip helps to cut cheese and cuts hard butter easily, and the rounded edge spreads butter and anything else you might want. And the knife is long enough to scrape out marmalade or peanut butter from the bottom of a jar.Just don’t put it in the dishwasher, as the wood handle won’t thank you for it.In addition to the Victorinox tomato knife this is the most useful small knife that I own. Would be ideal for taking on a picnic or eating in the garden when you don’t want to be weighed down with anything complicated.

Great knife!
Used this for the first time today to cut and butter my Hot Cross Bun and could immediately tell it was a quality product. Well made, good cutting action and nice long blade for buttering. The bright orange handle was a plus - I love the colour!

A ninja's choice
Having been using this knife for several weeks now, it is certainly my favourite 'go to' utensil for all things spreading and slicing.I can confirm:A) It is well madeB) Unbelievably sharpC) My thumb is now slightly shorter than it was before this purchase.

MADE IN PORTUGAL, NOT FRANCE.......BUYER BEWARE!
This is a Wonderful knife. Just the right size for scrapping jam jars, buttering and cutting and all round handy knife. Has many used in the kitchen and my favourite for picnics. Highly recommended, BUT and this is a huge BUT for me! These are not made in France but in Portugal.....misleading and had I known this I wouldn't have purchased for gifts!
