GreenPan Grill Pan 28cm: I was delighted to be offered this pan to try. I’d been looking at the GreenPan range for a while, trying to get away from Teflon coated pans and the PFOAs and PTFEs commonly found in most pans reportedly harmful to our health and the environment. The GreenPan is ceramic and it reports to contain options which are not harmful but still delivers on a durable non- stick performance.It indicates it is suitable for all hob types from gas burners to induction and certainly works well on my induction hob. Details on the pan say that it is safe to use in an oven upto 160c, would love to be able to go straight from hob to oven with this pan but noted a question about using in the oven on Amazon which stated the handle wasn’t suitable for this. I’m inclined to suspect this is the case so haven’t tried but will ask the manufacturers directly and update the review accordingly.Definitely a little oil or butter is required for cooking, but not olive oil or sprays as these do not perform well at high temps. I tend to oil/butter the item I’m cooking whenever possible rather than the pan as it tends to run into the ridges and then doesn’t protect the pan well - this works a treat and aids in giving a nice griddled look. In fairness I’ve only used a few times but I’m optimistic that the surface will maintain its non-stick ability for the longer haul.This is a quality pan if a bit expensive, it’s quite hefty and would make your arm ache a bit if you were flipping food for any prolonged period. The handle feels very secure, but has a reachable screw if tightening is required at some point. Additionally it says suitable for dishwashers - haven’t been brave enough to try, I’ve never washed a pan in the dishwasher and it feels alien to do so, but I will pluck up the courage to give it a try.So far liking this pan very much

This is supposed to be a steak frying pan. no matter how long you leave it on a hot hob the steak stews. it is simply not heavy enough to accumulate heat. HOPELESS . Cannot recommend . WOULD like my Money Back

I have a large round frying pan made by Greenpan that I bought when I first had kids as I’d read about how greenpan uses a toxin free non stick coating so I was really keen to try this grill panThe pan is a good weight and feels solid but its obviously much lighter than my cast iron grill pan. The pan heats up very evenly and cooks a fantastic steak. I don’t like to cook steaks at too high a heat and this copes brilliantly even at a lower temperature.The pan cleans up easily, I leave it to soak overnight and then wash it with a soft sponge

We have had a GreenPan wok for a few years, and it has proven to be very good, it is used regularly and the non-stick coating looks good and still works; this grill pan looks to be of a similar quality. It feels a good weight, (but a lot lighter than our cast-iron grill), it’s easy to hold and manipulate and it heated up quickly and evenly evenly on our induction hob. The square shape is a really useful and the ridges give that nice marking, not just to steaks and the like but to slices of bread, aubergine, tomatoes and such. The pan is dishwasher safe; our existing GreenPan wok is usually put in the dishwasher and has come to no harm. An excellent quality, useful grill pan.

GreenPan Grill Pan is made from ceramic. It is not the usual grill pan I use in cooking steak as I have cast iron pans that do the job great.I find this ceramic grill pan not suitable for long time use. I had a chance to use this as I grilled a steak the other day. I had high hopes that it will work as good as a cast-iron grill pan. I was able to cook it as how I want the steak, but it seems like the coating is not that really 'non-stick'. Cleaning it makes it a bit harder as well, as I am afraid to scratch off the coating. The only good thing I experienced is that it fits two medium-sized steaks, and flipping is not a problem as they have ample space.For me, this product is meh. I can only rate it with three stars based on its quality, not considering its price of £47.64.

Gets used every day. Griddled evenly acruss thr pan and You can usually just wipe it ciean after use

Light, easy to clean, warms up evenly and quickly. Better than my old expensive one.

Da ich mir vor einiger Zeit ein komplettes Startersets von Greenpan gekauft habe(Töpfe und Pfannen) musste auch eine Grillpfanne her.Die Pfanne ist gleichmäßig heiß und Steaks ect werden schon gegrillt und bekomme ein schönes Muster.Ich habe einen Induktionsherd und heize die Pfanne bei mittlerer Temperatur auf das klappt super.

Poêle d'excellente qualité, très grande pour que vous puissiez cuisiner plusieurs articles en même temps et les ajouter à des moments différents. Pas trop lourd à utiliser avec facilité et surface vraiment antiadhésive qui est facile à nettoyer avec une brosse douce, passe même au lave-vaisselle.

The frying pan got some rusty spots on the bottom after 2 washing cycles in a dishwashing machine.

Dopo una settimana, il rivestimento in ceramica ha già cominciato a sparire. Ho 2 chiazze di ferro arrugginito al posto della ceramica che devo evitare. Sconsiglio l'acquisto.

La poele nous est bien utile.Elle donne de belle ligne sur la viande lors de la cuisine. Cela rend le boeuf encore plus appétissant !Je ne suis pas d'une grande délicatesse avec mes poêles . Celle-ci a vite été griffée . Je n'utilise pas de couverts métalliques avec mais j'imagine que le frottement lorsque je la range en dessous d'autres doit être le coupable
