K&H Pet Products Hangin' Cat Condo Small Tan 16" x 16" x 65" Cat Furniture

Day 1/May 8, 2017: Bought this in anticipation for my Savannah cat as savannahs are known for their love for being up high and their rambunctious/hyper personalities. I live in an apartment and space is limited. I figured that this would be a good way to provide a place for the kitties to climb and still save floor space. I also have a 13 lb Maine coon. I just received the product today and chose it for stability/safety reasons as it straps at both the top and bottom. ATTENTION: They HAVE ADDED BUMPERS (pictured) to the product to help with the gap that other people have mentioned with thinner doors. This thing is super stable as my Maine coon just ran up and down it through the internal holes for the past hour. It DOES have a strong plastic smell that was mentioned in prior reviews. I helped my cat overcome this by 1). spraying feliway (calming spray, $8-15 on amazon) into each of the 5 compartments, 2). spraying cat nip spray ($1 at walmart) in every other compartment to promote playing/attract the cat, and 3). by placing some treats on each level. He is LOVING it so far. I do not have my Savannah kitten yet but will continue to update this product review with time and wear/tear/play/multiple cats.PROS:-Very spacious for cats!-Would work well for many cats in a small space. -Holds a large cat(s).-Seems stable.-Easy to put together (less than 20 mins by myself, a 125 lb 5 ft 4 in female).-Many compartments/levels.-Can be collapsed down for easy and discrete storage.-High quality materials. Can easily be used for travelling kitties any place with a door.-Chewy (5 yr old male Maine coon) loves it!-Hoping Leia (14 wk old female Savannah) will love it just as much. She arrives Sat (will post update).CONS:-it's almost too large and kind of disables/blocks use of the door handle on my door.-It's an "eye sore" as my boyfriend put it.-Takes up more room than I thought it would.-Please carefully read the measurements and see photos as they do offer a smaller option. -Strong plastic odor (I hope this will lessen with time and use).

This is amazing my cat absolutely loves it! She is a smaller cat about 8 lbs and and she has more than enough room in there to sprawl out ( i bought a small). I will say when you first open the package it does have a chemical smell but it is not too bad. Only when you first open it and if you were to go up and smell the condo, it sticks around for the first day or two after that it is pretty much gone. My cat is not too finicky so to get her to climb and play in it i tugged her string toy throughout it and gave her a few treats and presto she now plays climbs and sneak attacks the dog from it all within a few hours of having it out and hanging up. Speaking of hanging it up it is extremely easy if you are tall, but you might have some difficulty if you are under 5'5 as it is a little bulky and long. Once it was hung up and secured it barely moved unless Ami was dive bombing into or out of it. Also the the boards are removable so you can collapse it as well as wash it should a mess occur. The canvas material it is made out of feels pretty sturdy and should last FYI my cat is not declawed. I will hopefully update within a month and let y'all know.

I was hesitant to buy the large cat condo, but am so glad I did! It holds My biggest gal Meatball who weighs in at about 25 lbs. It should have only taken a few minutes to put up, but all three of my guys and gals decided to try it out on the floor when I was unfolding it! Needless to say it was a complete hit!This is extremely well made, strong and spacious. It takes up little room on my entry door in the living room and was easy to hang once I got the cats out of it. I was unable to use the bottom brackets as they would not fit over the plate at the bottom of my door. But to be honest it really makes no difference. I've had all three cats inside going up and down chasing each other with no problems whatsoever.I love K&H products because they are good quality and affordability priced, in fact I own several of their products that I use for my outdoor feral colony. If you love your cat, give them a place to hang! Literally

Out of 6 kitties (ages vary), only 1 really showed any interest. She's 3 yrs old. Maybe because it's on a "door"?? Trying to figure out a way to mount it on the wall next to a window. They may like it more then. Will provide update when I do that. It is very well made and keeps its shape. Very easy to install too.

8/23/18Defective. The strap is backwards. Needs to be in correctly to tighten. Also, the strap cant be pulled right when it's on backwards. The other side is correct and is tight and sturdy. Further, the top is collapsed and went straighten as it looks in the picture or YouTube video. I am returning. I REALLY want this to work! I'll update when I get the other one.One more thing, it came with all the pieces inserted in it. That made me believe this was already returned once. Clearly, its defective.UPDATE:The condo is fully functional! The second 2 pictures show that they aren't defective like the first one. As for the top collapsing, I'm happy to say I figured it out. I didn't put it completely together. Its sturdy like the advertising. The second one came quick. The pieces came partially assembled like the first one. Maybe it's supposed to. Well made. Now I hope my Kitty likes it!Hope this helps😊

Buy this your cat will love it!

El producto es grande, se específica ahí las medidas y especifican tamaños. Pero el grande si es verdaderamente grande. El armado es muy fácil. En ocasiones la cinta se llega aflojar un poco y llega a raspar con el piso al abrir la puerta, debes medir bien el espacio debajo de tu puerta, para poner los sujetadores. Sugiero poner en una puerta de poco movimiento, pero mis gatos lo adoran, es su juguete favorito, es una excelente compra. No guarda mucho pelo lo cual es plus en los dueños de gatos.

The K&H Manufacturing Hanging Cat Condo is expensive, but the quality of the product reflects the cost. I have two indoor only cats and they both use it at the same time with no issues. I live in an apartment and a typical cat tree takes up too much living space. A typical cat tree is not easy to store when you need it out of the way. The Hanging Cat Condo can be set up and taken down quickly. When you need it out of the way it will fold up to about the size of a throw blanket for storage. The materials it is made from are similar to that of a quality tent and will last for a long time. It would stand up to any scratching or chewing that the cats may try (although they have not attempted to do this).

A mi gato le gustó mucho. En seguida se subió y estuvo jugando y escalando de un compartimiento a otro. Desafortunadamente tuve que devolverlo porque es demasiado grande para mi casa. Al ponerlo en cualquier puerta, no permitía abrirla o cerrarla, pero no es problema del producto, sino del tamaño de mi casa :)
