I bought this to place grommets on a corset. This is a high quality grommet setter and it worked great.

C.S. Osborne Professional repair tool for Grommets on all types of items. Past repairs with cheap alternatives meant ripped/torn/damaged leather or fabric laces with rough jagged edges. This is the perfect tool for reasonable price. The base is machined smooth, solid with indent to place grommet, then fabric, then washer. Striking die has good surface to hammer, fits well in large hand. The result is a perfectly placed grommet with smooth hole for cloth or leather laces.Issues: none really. Please note the kit I purchased has #0 hole (8mm) or ¼ inch inside diameter BRASS grommets suitable for large projects. The #0 size has a washer/grommet that measures 13mm (almost 5/8 inch) across. Repairing costume corset for spouse did not like the “bloody large brass things”.
