Good machine.
Some aspects take a bit of getting used to as l never used flux core before but great machine for tig and mig.

The best budget welder.
This has a bit of everything and works flawlessy. The controls are easy to navigate, the option to be able to connect a spool gun for aluminium MIG was a saviour and the welder feels extremely sturdy with great features.

Great
Doesn't come with any TIG tooling and after market guns are a bit fiddly. But all other functions are good, creates good consistent welds.

So far so good.
So far happy with the welder but have not used it excessively. Just for flux core welding.

The quality and price...
Overall very good machine but didn't use the tig welding side as I have a 210 amp ac /dc tig welder for aluminium , good value for the money , can't fault it 😉

Great bit of kit for your garage
Got this mig welder for repairs to my classic car, looked around and read reviews on other machines, mainly cheaply made, bad fitting cases, and the best bit, videos show people using them then say it's their first using a mig welder for poor welding.Well this mig set is well made, robust, and would not look out of place in a workshop, as for welding, as good as the top ranked machines.PS, i'm a welder / fabricator so i know what i'm on about.

My first welder and I love it!
Great tool so far. I have never welded before but using this welder after following (quite)a few YouTube videos was fairly easy. I have spent whole afternoon practicing on a bunch of small plates trying to weld them together with not much luck until I had a "light bulb" moment when I realised I had the negative clamp connected too many pieces of metal away. Since I started connecting negative clamp directly to the metal I am welding (or very close) it's looking really good (for a newbie of course). As I am welding thin metal sheets at the moment (0.9mm with 0.8mm) I initially tried welding without gas using 0.8mm flux wire, but quite quickly moved on to welding with gas and 0.6mm wire as the first setup was burning too quickly through the metal when eventually had the right settings. I haven't used stick or TIG welding yet, but definitely planning to do it in the future after purchasing TIG torch from StaticArc.Also worth mentioning very good support from the seller - Luke from StaticArc promptly and professionally responses to emails if you need any advice.
