By Irish setter had a biopsy on his leg. With the cone he hated it and learned to bend it at the end so that he could still chew his stitches! We tried these 'leg warmers' and they work a treat!! Highly adjustable for size round the chest and prevent my dog from chewing his sore leg-Job Done!! They also wash and wear well too. Highly recommended 5 STAR!

This is such a great product. My beautiful dog of 16 and a half is suffering from pressure sores on his left leg, vet cream was just being licked off every time I applied it, so once I put this on he stopped immediately and had a swagger ! It was the funniest thing. So not only can I apply the cream and know that it will heal up, he looks and feels so much better, it seems to comfort him in some way, totally worth every penny

Got this to stop my dog licking his elbow, it fits great. The only thing is it could do with being thicker material as it gets wet with licking

Great replacement for the cones that the vet supplied after my dogs surgery. He hated it and was scared so brought this surgery sleeve to keep him from pulling out his stitches. Kept his wound clean and safe. Really soft fabric so comfortable for them to wear and easy to put on and off and adjust with the poppers. Also washes well

I bought this for my female collie (15kg) who has a wound under her dew claw. I needed to cover the dressing to avoid her eating it so as to lick the wound. I also wanted a light covering once the dressing is removed to see how she goes. Based on sizing she was medium chest, large leg. I went for the medium. On fitting it, the chest fitted well but I was concerned that the leg was only just long enough. Overnight it rode up such that the dew claw would be exposed if not dressed. I then ordered a large, so as to get the longer leg. The chest was a little baggy, only secured with two poppers but OK. The leg fitted better with some flex in the fabric, but was held in place by the tighter cuff and did not fall over the paw, quite the opposite unfortunately. It too rode up overnight, granted not so badly as the medium, but too much to be able to rely on this product. I will return to the tubigrip that stays in place all night. Both sizes would work if the wound was higher up the leg but for my dog, it is ineffective for protecting the dew claw.

One of my cats has an injury to one of her front legs and no one including several vets know what caused it but she has licked all her fur off from paw to thigh. Cones and collars are no good as she can reach her leg so tried this leg sleeve. She can push it up somehow and lick her lower leg and has scratched the top and made a hole as material is quite thin but the sleeves have shrunk slightly in the wash so have now ordered the next size.I think these sleeves are excellent for the welfare of the animals so they can wash and eat without the problems a cone or collar bring. Need to be adjusted a bit for cats as fastening a bit heavy if it's a small cat but overall a brilliant invention. Very happy.

This is a great alternative to a cone or muzzle. My dog hates wearing a muzzle or cone, & this is much more comfortable. I feel happier knowing that she is getting stressed. It’s easy to put on & stops her from licking leg lesions.

My dog had a large tumour removed from his leg. Two weeks after surgery the wound needed to be left without a dressing to allow healing. The surgical sleeve was brilliant. It protected his fragile skin, stopped him licking and kept the wound dry when out on walks, it also kept him warm where his full leg and shoulder had been shaved. Our vet was very impressed and will be recommending surgical suits and sleeves to other patients. I bought two, one to wear and one to wash.
