child loves the colour but impossible to make a decent noise from it
I bought this for my 4 year old to start playing. He loves the colour, therefore is keen to learn, and lets face it he is going to make a horrific noise with even the finest instrument so I would rate the recorder very highly for child appeal. However should I wish to show him how to play something I have to pick up my own recorder as I can not get a passable sound out of this coloured recorder. I recommend the Aulos 303 once your child wants to progress; for a few extra pounds it makes a way superior sound.

I ordered this recorder for my son and received it within a few days excellent fast delivery and is a great first recorder for school.Love that it comes in most colours :)

blue recorder
Who knew that such a cheap item would bring so much pleasure to an eight year old. She played it almost non stop for the first two days and thankfully began to improve quite quickly with the help of the recorder from the beginning book.

Music for schools
i was very impressed with the recorders. I ordered a set of different colours for a school and they were very pleased with them. Each of the recorders came in a plastic cover and cleaning material and a paper about the notes.
