Italian Prosciutto di Parma Black Label D.O.P. Boneless Whole Leg - Aged 18 Months - 16 Pounds Approx.

Over the years I've occasionally bought "proscuitto" from U.S. producers, which is to say proscuitto-resembling ham. It was fairly good, but I finally decided to take the plunge and spend the money to get the real thing. I am very happy I did so: though significantly more expensive, this Black Label DOP is VERY significantly superior. Very much worth the extra cost. Also of note: there was at least one prior review of this proscuitto in which the recipient complained of getting a much smaller amount of proscuitto than expected (about 25% lower). Happily, my experience was almost exactly the opposite; I expected about 16 pounds, and ended up getting something over 19 pounds. I'm not complaining . . . All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase: extremely good price (especially considering the amount I received) of an excellent proscuitto.

Highly recommend. Delicate flavor and just right saltiness.I had a slight issue with a different colored label (red) but it was their black label one aged 18 months. They were responsive in letting me know about the issue. Just wish they had let me know when they shipped it.Shipped fast and secure. I will be buying again!

The quality is outstanding. It tastes exquisite, was very well packed, and with a nice texture and color.

Very practical to have no bone, it goes in the slicer without concern. Delicate taste, must slice paper thin to enjoy it fully. It is massive and can be enjoyed for weeks!

Really Good Prosciutto.. It came packed well.. Sturdy Cardboard box , cool packs & insulated panels.It was NOT too Salty ... & I thought it was better than the "La Torre Rustico"

It was great, the color & taste was of great quality and what wasn't eaten was used in a number of ways. Truly buying this again soon.

Prosciutto has nice flavor and aroma but doesn’t feel like it it’s mature for 24 months.Talking from experience of making my own prosciutto’s in past and since I was born and raised in that neck of the woods

I bought 5 of these in the past year. The most recent one lacked the styrofoam lining that it used to ship with. It arrived in the box with warm ice packs. It was returned and I will not be buying it again from them.
