I am using this together with Sweetie Bungee Dog Lead and it works great. I was a user of 2 retractable leads for 3 years and I did not know how much more pleasant lead-on walks can be. No more untangling every few minutes, perfect control of the dogs in sudden occurrences (you know: cats, dogs, seagull, flying leaf...), no more running after the dog, trying to retract the lead, no more jumping around untangling myself. It takes a moment to get used to bungees as you feel (falsely) that you lose control, while it's stretching, but after few walks it is easy to appreciate lack of sudden pulls and strains on your shoulder and arm, especially when you had a seriously torn muscle just a year ago. First time ever I also can have BOTH my hands free during the walk, just having lead hanged safely on my wrist. I also have a great fun watching my 2 dogs (6kg and 7kg) how they learn to walk in harmony. The length is perfect to keep controlling your dogs, but to also allow them to have fair amount of freedom to explore independently. It's comfortable and great quality.

The adjuster snapped the first time using this with our dogs. Neither of them pull much on a lead and at 25 and 28kg respectively they're hovering around the typical boundary between "medium" and "large" dogs - not middle or top of "large" or anywhere near "giant" breeds.For a product that is sold as "ideal for walking two dogs of any size", "GUARANTEED DURABLE & LONG-LASTING" and "The large metal clip is made of a strong metal that won’t snap no matter how you or your dogs pull" I'm very disappointed.I was not able to enquire with the seller because, being "fulfilled by Amazon", I could only contact Amazon about it via my order. Amazon have taken it back and refunded me (I was not offered a replacement as an option) as it is defective and/or not fit for purpose, however having not spoken to the seller direct I do not know if it was a one-off defect or misadvertised. I was also not able to find out if the "lifetime guarantee should any issues arise, such as defects in materials or build" would have been honoured by the seller.The metal clips did seem robust and the anti-tangle design worked brilliantly for the couple of minutes I was able to use it but beware the plastic adjusters seem fragile and if they snapped off completely I believe the pooches could get loose.

Stong enough for my 2 adult huskies that pull in opposite directions. Springs back to normall size and helps with "the drag" so takes some of the force from the pull. Just hope the last! As they are walked daily. Have to aware of the pull length near the roads.Cant rember if they are sized but the 1 i have is ideal for medium to small length. I bougth similar from different supplier and the stitching on the middle ring.Had it for 3 weeks now so bear that in mind when buying. Its very important if you have dogs that will run if the get away.I personally find its the best/saftest option when walking 2 dogs. Because they are pack animalsGood secure, thickness and stitching.

I have two Pomeranians and it's too heavy for them drags on the floor. When it arrived one clip wouldn't even open or work my fiance had to force it open. It's not comfortable as like I said drags on the floor isn't sturdy as if it was sturdy wouldn't be dragging them on the floor. Wouldn't purchase ever again. I was going to return but we only use to clip onto our dogs to take them to fields near our house where we let them off the lead and they run in th3 fields with no lead so we only use it for 2 seconds from our house to the fields and from the fields back home we don't use it for walking them as wouldn't be any good.

This is strong and well made although quite heavy.I read the reviews and was hoping it would be as good as the recommendations, however it doesn’t work for me . My two enthusiastic pups ( around 8 kilos) have made the expression of tree hugging a totally different concept. This possibly would work with two dogs under complete control on even ground but walking in the woods with rabbits, squirrels and other exciting things to explore it is not safe or practical ,if they decide not to go in the same direction .The beach walk was not any better with a retractable lead . So thumbs down for me .

Really got to recommend this lead. I searched for ages, and felt as though many similar products were made of that thinner fabric tape that was going to stretch and curl in on itself. This is made of strong fabric that keeps its shape, and has a lovely padded handle that makes it a pleasure to hold. And the magic is, the two dogs never get tangled, even if they're not used to walking together and weave around each other. It's a generous length, so if you need it a bit shorter, I just coil my end around my hand a few times. I tend to use it for small dogs, but this would be fine for bigger dogs too.

I volunteer at a municipal kennel in the Algarve and getting the dogs out at least a couple of times a week is a real priority. Being able to walk two dogs at a time enusures that this happens. We have purchased various split leads in the past however the volunteers have never felt that safe as the split has been two near the hand part. This split lead is perfect, you feel totally in control and not having dogs running off in different directions. I can not recommend it enough, hopefully we can raise more funds next year to purchase some more.

I used a harness for the first time on my Shepherd and after only 3 uses it snapped leaving him able to get free. So when I was gifted a different type of harness with a Velcro fastening on the breast band I have visions of him taking off in the middle of traffic, so, I thought this splitter would give me the benefit of two clip ends to attach to his collar and the harness (belt and braces idea) but taken down to its shortest length it is very solid and heavy. I haven't tried it out yet but will re-review when I have used it. I don't think he will get out of it and fingers crossed it won't snap. The swivel clips are a great idea.
