This is the second book in the Celebrity series that can be read as a stand-alone.The life of an actress is not as easy as people think it is. But there is something about this one that awakens his desires.Though there is unfriendly friction between them at the beginning which was born of the intense sexual attraction that they felt they couldn’t stay away from each other for long. Their romance was sweet and provided healing for Tatum and freedom for Paige. But can a relationship between a celebrity and a small town guy really survive when the real world comes crashing down on them?This was a sweet, cute young romance that I found enjoyable but it wasn’t as good as the first book. Perhaps because of the age of the characters some of the behaviors and dialogue was a little too young for this reader. It was hard to believe that after seven years in the business Paige was still naïve to the workings of the entertainment industry and not more jaded even if she had good role models in her family. She really was too trusting of people for someone of her age and in her profession. I found Tatum flawed yet adorable and I liked how he fought for them in the end. The double epilogues were lovely. There was a dual point of view.3.5 stars

How often do you look at your favourite actor and think ‘if only.’ You see these hot celebrities dating other hot celebrities and think they have the dream lifestyle. We all assume that anyway, forgetting that we are all just people.This is true for Paige Lockwood who got scouted at 14 years old and has been working as an actress in Hollywood for the last seven years. She is craving normal. She may have a glamorous life but everyday things are on her mind a lot lately.After being humiliated and having her named dragged through the tabloids she decides that a bit of time away is just what she needs. She had no idea what she would find at the end of the highway, it’s like fate intervened when she had car trouble and the gorgeous Tatum Montgomery stopped to help her.Tatum is a sweet, gorgeous southern guy. He has always had a bit of a crush on the actress Paige Lockwood and cannot believe his eyes when he finds her needing his help on the side of the road. She is even more beautiful in person and his senses are heightened even more just being near her.Paige finds herself staying in this small town and finally gets the normalcy she has been craving, no paparazzi, agent or manager dictating to her. Time to reflect on her future and enjoy being 21 with people who want nothing from her apart from friendship.Tatum is a hard nut to crack and when she manages to break through he is all warm and gooey inside like a marshmallow easter egg ☺ These two are really cute together and just goes to show that dating someone who isn’t in the ‘industry’ could be just what Paige needs in her life.As ideal as this sounds, reality will come knocking soon and Paige will have to face her responsibilities, returning to her ‘real’ life. Tatum is a small town country boy and she knows that Hollywood is no place for a guy like him. How can she find a balance between happiness and responsibility without ruining her future?This was such a fun read and I love this couple.

I waited for months for the new Jenn Sterling release and once it was downloaded to my Kindle, I had a very hard time putting it down! It was so good and I would venture to say it is her best work yet and yes, I have read all of her books. Breaking Stars was funny and entertaining, but most of all, it was a beautiful and sweet love story. Jenn writes so well that I could feel the sizzle between Paige and Tatum through the virtual pages of my Kindle (it's a good thing I didn't really feel the sizzle or I would have been truly concerned). I felt for Paige because as America's Sweetheart, she is expected to behave a certain way and to follow what everyone else says without regard to what she wants, but deep down, she is just a normal, down-to-earth girl with exceptional talent who wants to experience things like everyone else. Tatum is the perfect match for her because he has his own problems and when their personalities combine, they are truly able to help each other in a way no other person has before. I loved the setting of Louisiana because Paige learns so much about a lifestyle she has only heard about as an actress and the small-town setting is the complete opposite of LA. I felt the descriptions of the town were so vivid and colorful that I was right there with them. I loved how the ending was a sweet fairy-tale ending that took some detours to get there. Everything worked out for Paige and Tatum and I'm anxious to read the next book in this series. Jenn Sterling has become one of my go-to authors and I will always be buying her books. I HIGHLY recommend reading this novel because it is not only a perfect example of a love story, it also showcases Jenn Sterling's exceptional writing talent!

I really enjoyed Tatum and Paige's story. She really didn't deserve the back lash that she received after what Colin put her through.Love that she has good down to earth parents and a great best friend in Quinn.In all honesty I think I would have taken off after the hurt she was feeling from Colin, loved her ballsy, spur of the moment attitude.Her Confidence although not lacking was feeling a tad bruised and rightly so.I really enjoyed her refreshing outlook and loved that she did this for herself, only telling the really important people who mean something to her.Her Manager and Agent what a pair of uncaring and unfeeling people who clearly did not have her interests at heart, let alone her best!So when we meet Tatum, along with Paige after her tire blew, oh my what a douche! I loved her internal dialogues with herself, berating her inner feelings on how handsome he was! made me chuckle.Their friendship grew, ever so slowly and I think they both had an instant impact on each other, but managed to navigate a myriad of emotions.So loved Emily, Tatum's Mom she could read them both immediately, a really nice lady who played her cupid's role perfectly.The ex-Brinna, Karma will not be her friend, but I really loved Q, just who and how would imagine a best friend.When Brinna, sold them out, and her Agent and Ex turned up, just as Tatum and Paige were opening up together, I wanted to see how their romance developed away from the public eye just a little more, and when Tatum pushed her away I felt so sad for Paige.When she got back to LA and her previous Actors life, finding out all the terrible stories whilst broken hearted, I just wanted to crawl into my kindle and give her some big hugs.She had support from Quinn and her family, but not from her Agent and Manager she really didn't have much of a choice to make and I am glad Madison was there for her, nice to get a brief glimpse of how she is getting on.Awe, Tatum! You came back! so sweet, but I loved Paige's honesty and then the interaction with Colin and Tatum, Colin got what he deserved.Loved that Quinn took control and got Tatum and Paige back onto the same page, it will be great to see how their romance blossoms when we get Quinn and Ryson's book.

This is the story of Paige Lockwood, a young actress who has been in the business since she was spotted in her teens and craves the "normal" life. Her long term boyfriend has just broken her heart, she has no control of her life and it is all getting too much. Its time to escape. In a total chance meeting she comes across Tatum Montgomery and as the saying goes, opposites attract. it turns out though that they are not so different, even though they come from completely different worlds.A lovely heartwarming story which is a lovely easy read. Recommended.

Jenn, you are freaking amazing and never fail to disappoint. Watch out Jack Carter.. Looks like you have a little competition in the form of a tall, muscular, southern piece of hotness.Emotional, beautiful and truly heartwarming.An easy 5 stars and I'd award more if I had the option.

Another lovely read from j Sterling, great story and great characters, glad Paige got a back bone, hated Colin snivvlin little twerp and a few others, sign of a good book when you really don't like some characters. Well worth a read.

Another great book by J Sterling, I love her characters & how the story sucks you in. I look forward to the next book in the Celebrity series.

Thoroughly enjoyable,as ever. This author never fails. The main characters are strong too. A good read.
