22021 Light Cure CA Adhesive System

I use this product for small repairs and hobby projects. It works very well.The best part of it is the bottle. Even after being opened and used, the glue in the bottle stays wet. Even after multiple months of not being used.The other similar optical glues i tried came in tubes. Their glue tended to dry out very quickly when not in use. And for some of them, the glue actually arrived from Amazon already solid and unusable. That's definitely not the case with this Surehold glue, which came liquid and stayed liquid until used.A few other notes on this glue. This is an optical cyanoacrylate adhesive. It comes out of the bottle as a fairly runny clear liquid. When you shine the UV light on it, it solidifies into clear acrylic plastic. It takes maybe 10 seconds for a full cure.If you need a thicker glue for your project, you can squirt some out onto a piece of plastic or paper, then give it 1 or 2 seconds of UV light. Enough to thicken it up a bit, but not to full cure. Then use a toothpick or other tool to spread it onto your project.Note also that because this glue requires an optical cure it works best were the glue is visible on the outside of your project. If you use this on something where light from outside cannot penetrate the UV light won't be able to instantly cure the glue. It will still cure as it dries out, but that could take many hours.

Ratings all totally zero. Best way to blow your money on an imported piece of junk from a foreign child labor force. This is not the expected value from Amazon. The UV light seems to make a beam of light. I assume it is UV. However, it couldn't even be tested on the UV curable polymer in the bottle. The total liquid in the dispenser had already been solidified, as found after cutting the polymer dispenser in half. And the adhesive squeeze bottle had been stored in a metalized covered bag as I received it to protect it. I must have gotten a package that was stored for years, or, this product is the biggest piece of crap that has absolutely no shelf life. I will check the Amazon Review Postings after writing this feedback. Bet that this review never gets posted. For a product like this, buy it from your local building supply company. If doing this, squeeze the adhesive dispenser first. If hard, and not squeezable, look at something else. All of these adhesives do not last very long, if you have ever tried to use an old glue dispenser.

Great glue! This is a medium thickness UV cure super glue. Holds very well in most cases. You can build the surface up without it running down like most super glues do. Cures with included UV flash light. Only complaint is that there are two on functions on the flash light, on continuous or on flashing strobe. It just takes a couple of clicks of the switch to get it out of the irritating strobe mode to continuous on. Bit of nuisance but all things considered it is a minor inconvenience with strobe mode. I built up the F and J home keys on my keyboard so I can feel them better with my old worn out fingers! Worked super great for that! So glad I thought of it! Now I don't miss the home keys and have to look why I'd been typing gibberish on my screen. I bought a new keyboard and just decided I liked the older one better and I still couldn't feel the F and J keys any better on the new one.

When I received my glue. There was a problem with it. I contacted the seller. They sent me a new one. All is good. I would do business with them again.

This is the greatest glue! I've had it less than 24 hours and have repaired my wife's reading glasses, a grandson's toy where two plastic screw mounts had snapped off and after applying 3 coats I was able to screw the parts back in place and it held. Just make sure to clean the surfaces and follow the directions. I keep the light on for 30 seconds and that ensures a complete bond. It also worked on my camera shade in which super glue didn't perform satisfactorily. The applicator bottle is nicely designed with an upper screw off cap and I wipe the applicator tip off if the glue starts to contaminate it. I make sure that I recap the bottle before using the UV light just in case. Don't use in sun light. Also there is no discernible odor which is critical for some people. Just an awesome product!I will be buying more to keep in travel kits and backpacks.

What a load of xxxxxx , opened the bottle and couldn’t pierce the top, so got a needle and it wouldn’t go through, got a skewer and again it wouldn’t go through, so used a cocktail stick and got the glue out of the bottle , no glue went on the lid , glued my husbands plastic glasses back together.1 week later they broke in the same place , glue so weak , but went to have another go, this time we can’t even get the lid off to get to the glue so we tried everything we could to pierce a hole in the top to drop the glue out of and it’s not breaking , so it’s a non job for the glue and a waste of money , going to get gorilla glue of which we should if bought first , if there was minus numbers I would of star rated them

I bought this one and loved it. The 2nd time I bought it the glue was totally solid. I didn't notice till it was too late to request a refund. So check the bottle when you receive it. Otherwise it's a great product

Bought this because the container has more material. You get what you pay for. The adhesive is kid of weak overall. Takes forever for the UV light that comes with it to cure. 1+ minutes otherwise it is still sticky. Every other UV material I bought would glow when you put the UV light on it so you can see where your material is and if you properly covered the area with the adhesive. Not this junk remains clear so you will find out the hard way wasting time and material to make sure you have proper coverage, and it make building up the material nearly impossible so get ready to sand it down if yo are layering anything. Rapid Fix might be a little less product for the money but well worth it. Pass on this stuff. I would not recommend it.
