Hot Wheels Monster Jam Grave Digger Die-Cast Vehicle, 1:24 Scale, Black and Green

This is the next-larger size of Hot Wheels monster truck. It is equal in quality to the small Hot Wheels monster trucks, maybe the size of a football. The only two moving parts are the axles, which flex in the chassis just like the small Hot Wheels version. Very happy with the detail and quality. I couldn't believe this turned out to be what I expected. When was the last time that happened? The 3.5-year old has played with this, thrown it, hammered with it, and stood on it for the last 2 months and nothing has broken. It is much, much sturdier than all other mostly-plastic toy cars I've seen over the last decade. Which probably means Hot Wheels will soon cut costs and make a new, disposable version (piece of junk) in the near future like all the other manufacturers. So better pick up one or many of these while the quality is great. Great job Hot Wheels!

Got this as a birthday present for a little boy. My boys already have this one and play with it a lot. Not extremely durable as it's got a lot of plastic parts instead of metal, but still will get a lot of play time out of it

These are made very well & bright colors. Just the right size for my 2 yr old grandson.

A toy is an item that is used in play, especially one designed for such use. Playing with toys can be an enjoyable means of training young children for life in society. Different materials like wood, clay, paper, and plastic are used to make toys. Many items are designed to serve as toys, but goods produced for other purposes can also be used. For instance, a small child may fold an ordinary piece of paper into an airplane shape and "fly it". Newer forms of toys include interactive digital entertainment. Some toys are produced primarily as collectors' items and are intended for display only.

Since Grave Digger was a favorite of the 4 grandsons,(3 at age 3 and one 7 years old), I purchased another one. These toys have held up well to constant use both outside and in, plus they have held their attention even over the electronic gadgets and games. Since it is a goal of mine to develop their creative juices instead of the zombie like condition the electronics produce, these have been the best for both the girls and boys. We have had a great time creating our Monster Jam courses and events.

I got this for my son because he loves the Hot Wheels brand. It's a really fun truck to roll around and play with. First of all, it's big - maybe 7 1/2 inches front to back and about 5 inches wide and 5 inches tall. It rolls like a dream on its big, soft tires. It's gorgeous, too. I love the green, and I love the paint job on the metal section (the part that's painted with the Grave Digger stuff is the only metal - everything else is plastic). If you or your kid likes big monster truck toys, I can't imagine you'd be unhappy with this.

Wow. What else can I say about this toy? Just... wow. Nice tires, smooth axles, beautiful paint job. My 3 year old son loves his Grave Digger so much that he will play with it for hours on end. Meanwhile, mama bear and I can spend a little bit of "alone time" in the next room (small house). My only fear is that I will begin to associate my son's monster truck sound effects with mommy/daddy time like some kind of twisted Pavlovian conditioning. So far so good. This is a nice toy for the price.
