Works as advertised
First one I received did not work but they shipped me a new one next day it it worked perfectly took my 20volt battery to a steady 13.8 would high recommend if you are trying to power your kids power wheels with tool batteries and don’t want to fry the electronics with 18+ volts.

Worked perfectly
I bought this to step down a battery that was rated at 12v but was actually delivering 18v. I wanted to power a telescope mount but not fry its electronics. Fortunately, I'm cautious enough to test the battery before just blindly hooking it up. With this in the circuit, the battery delivers a nice even 12v.

Good value and works for my use, charging portable power station quickly.
I want to step power up from 12v to 24 from either a LifePO4 battery or my vehicle to charge an ecoflow river faster. This works perfectly for this and I show 100-110W input power on the ecoflow. I was concerned about heat, and while it does get hot, it's not so hot that you can't touch it. Time will tell how durable it is, but I will likely order another for my truck.

Seems well built
I bought this to regulate the voltage to my camper's compressor refrigerator. The refrigerator occasionally, regularly, give a 12 volt alarm.Measured input to the refrigerator is 13.5 volts but hay, for $21 I can make sure it never sees less than 13.8 volts. On startup it measures about 130F but now that the refrigerator is up to (down to?) temperature it reads 120F. That's why that have a solid heat sink on it.It's boosting the 13.5 up to 13.8, last time I checked.

Works great!
Lasted 9 months and now has zero output. Only used for a few hours for two camping trips in the last 9 months powering Starlink in our RV.EDIT.....My mistake, was using the wrong multi meter setting, still working just fine!

dies just outside return window
this is the third power module that has failed. and i just missed the return window twice. it worked several times for short intervals but if left on a few hours, then it is dead, no more voltage output.

It fixed my high voltage issue
I had to install two way radios for work. My 2013 2500 hd charged at 14.5 - 15.5 volts to high . After spending a couple thousand dollars to try to lower the voltage, only to discover finally that’s normal. I installed the 8/40 to 13.8 regulator my problem is solved. I’ll have to wait on longevity
