Mens Guardians Distressed Red Maroon Leather Jacket

It looks awesome! I got it way earlier than expected and it fit like a glove on me. Looks exactly like the picture and you can tell be the smell that it is factory new. It's definitely worth the price as both a cosplay item and an every day jacket. I also looked up movie pictures and it looks very accurate. I am extremely impressed!

When i purchased this jacket 2 months ago, i was already a bit skeptical if it would fit me due to my size, and sure enough when i receive my first jacket, it way WAY too small (and i was a 2X) Unfortunately had to send it back, but i hoped for a replacement so i had contacted these gentlemen in hope of a custom made jacket, and unexpectedly they followed through with maximum effort. With only a fine of $25 for a customization, i received my brand new Star-Lord jacket today and it fits like a glove! This is the legend of PLG, and may these fine talented men go down in history for this feat. I thank you again, and i hope to see you all again in the future!

i love this jacket. im about 40-42 inch chest and ordered the large. i have a decent athletic build and this jacket fits me perfect. the color is very similar to what is shown in the picture. i cant wait to get the legends star lord helmet this august to help finish off the look.

Full disclosure: I bought this from somewhere other than Amazon, but it is the same seller.First of all, accuracy. It's worth noting that this jacket is NOT 100% accurate to the film version. The jacket in the film is actually a hybrid of materials, not all leather. There are other additional details, such as a much more complex collar on the back, that are not reproduced here. What I would call this jacket is "close enough." No one but the most nitpicky cosplayers will notice the differences. And of all of the different mass produced versions of this jacket I've seen offered, this is the closest "close enough" you'll find. You want more accurate? You'll have to drop $400-500 on a custom made jacket or get on the pre-order for the Anovos replica (which, incidentally, has no real leather).The color is a little bit brighter than indicated by the photos, but not anywhere NEAR as bright red as the volume 1 jacket replicas tended to be. And keep in mind that being leather, the more you wear it, the more it'll darken. Or you could dirty it up a bit yourself.The fit is very good. I'm 6'1" and 175lbs. I went with a large and it fits well.Construction of these types of jackets is always the wild card. So far, this seems pretty solid, but time will tell.Overall, one of the things I look for in these types of jackets is actual wearability. I don't want something that is *just* a costume piece. I own three different versions of the Indiana Jones leather jacket, all suitable for daily wear. I own the Mass Effect leather jacket, which I also wear often. Then I own 2 versions of the Guardians vol. 1 jacket, which, while well constructed, definitely look like costume pieces. This jacket I'd place somewhere in the middle of the scale -- it looks good and fits good. Without as much obvious "circuit" embossing, and no costume-y patches or air hose connections, it's a little more discrete than the volume 1 jacket, but it does still look a little more over the top than a "regular" jacket.Basically, I'd wear it confidently as either part of my Star Lord cosplay, or as just a daily jacket. But your mileage may vary.

Im 185lbs 5'7" with a 40" chest size but still able to rock this medium sized jacket no problem! it feels very well made. It might be a cosplay jacket but its subtle enough to wear everyday! Ive got compliments from both fans of the film and those who simply like the jacket as is. the padding on the shoulders might make you look bigger and it'll make your shoulders seem wider (depending on your build, that could be a good thing). Overall, its quite a medium weight leather jacket. Not too heavy but not light enough to comfortably wear in sunny weather of anything above 75F (23C). this is definitely a keeper!

I'm a 5'3" 127 lb female dressing as Star Lord for Comic Con, so I purchased this jacket fully expecting it to be big on me. I ordered an XS and was pleasantly surprised - yes it's big, but I'm not swimming in it. Sleeves are maybe an inch longer than I'd like, shoulders are a bit wide. I hesitate to take it to a tailor to have it altered, but I'm considering using safety pins or a cinch clip to make the back of the jacket a bit more snug. The details on the jacket are just like the movie. Shipping was much quicker than I anticipated.

This jacket looks great. It looks exactly as you think from the photos. Unfortunately, it's also very uncomfortable. The internal fabric is nothing great, and the bulky leather bends and folds in a way that makes it feel like it's not connected to the inside fabric. The folds bend into your forearms as you bend your arms. The collar only goes up and is extremely annoying, and it's very bulky with all the extras attached to the jacket. The internals are so poorly insulated that it causes you to sweat within seconds of it touching your skin—I even tried going into a cold room and putting it on in front of the AC. About 10 seconds later I felt my skin sweating while simultaneously having goosebumps. I couldn't stand wearing it for more than a few minutes.If you're willing to spend the money so you have a good Halloween costume, go for it. If you're looking for a decent, comfortable leather jacket, go for a professional brand.
