Worst, most uncomfortable mattress I've ever had!Because I move yearly & usually leave behind my mattresses, I've purchased 6 of the same brand in recent years, but 8" or 12" thick. This mattress is so thin with such little padding on top, it has coils that stick into my hips & any other joint that's facing down on the mattress... difficult as a side sleeper.I bought it to save $$ since as I said above, I leave behind my mattresses each year & dislike losing $300+. But, in a feeble attempt to save $$, I spent triple the cost of the mattress having to buy 2 $100+/ea mattress pads to try to pad & puff it up so it's softer on top. It worked better, but still wan't great. In addition, the springs punch down, so it's not a firm mattress, it's just a cheap, uncomfortable one. BTW, I weight 135-lbs, so I can't imagine weighing more & attempting to have a good night's sleep on this clunker.Now that I'm moving again & took off the pads to wash & pack, I'm sleeping on the bare mattress with only a sheet & I wake up feeling like a 90-yr old woman... doubled over, sore joints all over from neck to shoulders to hips & knees. WTValhalla!I'm giving away the mattress for free cuz those who came to purchase it for $50 thought it was too hard, but not offering support, therefore not worth it. So, I spent over $350 to try to make this comfy & would have returned it, but don't have any idea how on earth I'd do that, since it's a mattress in a box item.Skip this thin model. The Ashley brand & specifically, their bed in a box mattresses are great... just get the 8" or 12" for a great night's sleep. I've bought all of them & the 12" will give you the best night's sleep... it's divine. It also weights 65-lbs so know that in advance. This was a complete waste of money.0* out of 5. A piece of junk.Edit: To be fair, the mattress does come with a heavy duty zipper all along the bottom perimeter, which I'm assuming is to remove to wash and/or place padding on top of the springs. It fits tightly so I have no idea how you'd add enough interior padding to make a difference. But, it does exist. Still, buy the 8 or 12" for comfort... & you don't need to buy extras to make it plush.

I got the twin sized mattress for my 3 year old, and he absolutely loves it! It’s very VERY bouncy LOL but I laid on it, and you can somewhat feel the coils BUT not to the point to where it’s uncomfortable! Something a mattress topper can definitely fix!

This is NOT a memory foam mattress as it is listed in the title and in the “construction material” but a inner spring mattress. Bought two of them for my kids and will update my review if they are comfortable

Like it but don’t believe it is a 10”

Very happy with this mattress so far. Fully expanded to just over 10 inches. The pillow top works perfect with the firm spring base. It’s not rock hard firm but more on the firm side of medium firm. That’s probably the best way I can explain it. I will try to update the review in a few months as to how it’s holding up. I rated it 4 star because it is not foam encased which I knew when I ordered it so that’s ok. I don’t even notice actually so I guess it wasn’t that important. Terrific price and good quality. Perfect for what I wanted. I am 6’1” 220 lbs.

This is a nice bed the description threw me off but that was my own fault. Read the description carefully after I did I got what it says and it is a nice bed just wasn’t what I was expecting

If you like a hard bed with the metal workings inside trying to cradle your curves, you might like this mattress. But I do not. I had to put a memory foam topper on it and it's STILL too hard.

Highly disappointed with this mattress and will be returning. This “firm mattress’s is the furthest thing from being firm. Within 48 hours of purchasing, it created a dent on the edge where a 25 lbs toddler sat. It sunk. And this feels more of a box spring where you feel the coils going into your back when laying down. This is AWFUL. DO NOT BUY. Thank goodness for returns as this would have been the worst waste of money, ever. Bought a much better mattress elsewhere.
