Wonder Woman Soundtrack

I have this soundtrack in MP3 format and now this red-gold vinyl format limited edition of 666. There are many variations of this score in vinyl. Book seller bn has a different photo on the cover in black 180 gram vinyl. They also have the non exclusive non limited in black 180 gram vinyl and also a gold disc version that was limited to a pressing of 3k.I had wanted to pick up a vinyl version of this and glad I waited for the limited 666 version of this score.The score is fantastic- not just mood enhancing but just an overall feel good musicality to it. Has rich velvety smooth themes and powerful punches in the action parts of the score. At times ominous sounding and inspiring at times - gives me the frisson sensation- great score to a great film. DC studios or I guess Warner brothers did a fantastic job of the film.The pressing is good. Although I found a few pops side D first track — 2 glaringly loud ones and 1 softer one all of which sounds like a defect - but otherwise surface noise is low and static is kept at a minimum on all other sides - In my experience is a rare occurrence with colored vinyl. This is what’s keeping it from 4- 5 whole stars. Some part Side D seems not pressed well. I’ll live with it.Prob pressed out of a digital source - there wasn’t any notable music passages that sounded compressed - bass is not lacking. Very warm esp on vinyl where the lower frequencies takes a bit of center stage. Not to say the mid range doesn’t shine but it could be the limitation of my entry level TT. Disclaimer I am using a subwoofer.The color of the vinyl - although the description says red and gold swirl is more a dark coral color - opaque not translucent - doesn’t really have that swirl appearance overall.Jacket is the same as the others except for the bookstore bn version. I wasn’t impressed initially with this soundtrack but the more I listen to it, the more I like it. The review is especially for the vinyl that I got. The vinyl cover comes in a glossy finished inside a thick PVC plastic cover. I read online that this PVC plastic cover is not good for your vinyl, so I just replace it with the plastic cover I have. If you are not concerned about that or you don’t believe what people said about it, it’s a very nice plastic cover with a sticker attached to the top upper hand corner. It’s made by a European factory, MusicOnVinyl under license from Sony. I always like their vinyl and this one in particular is well made. Very quite 180 gram double vinyl. Unfortunately the first vinyl is wrapped pretty bad that I can see the needle going up and down. But I don’t want to exchange it because I am worried that the replacement might be worse. What I am concern of is the sound. And this particular pressing is again, quite without any clicks or pops. Highly recommended.

Haven’t played mine yet since I’ve been moving, so this review currently is strictly on customer service and product. I preordered August 11 with a release date of September. September release date comes and it’s suddenly backordered. I finally get mine mid November. Just opened it tonight — I preordered the collectors edition gold vinyl. Mine are black. Very, very disappointed by this purchase right now.

This is a fantastic sounding LP album. The mixing and engineering is quite excellent. The presentation is very nice, with a gloss gatefold and pretty cool gold discs enclosed in a protective sleeve. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an excellent pressing of this album.

The records in the package I received were not gold. If you are expecting to get gold records, do not count on it.

Wonderful packaging with good looking discs. However, the record maker neglected to add "Snap, Crackle, and Pop" to record liner notes credit, which they should have because they accompany every track.

Simply a brilliant score. One of my favourites. Vinyl itself has a great sound quality. Art work is great too. Worth having if you like movie scores and vinyl. It's all good!

Wonderful soundtrack which is very listenable too.

NOT gold vinyl at all. Only found out when giftee opened present 2 months late (should have checked I know).Paid extra for this issue.

Also ich finde den Soundtrack absolut Spitzenmäßig. Die Vinylplatte hat einen Superklang. Tolles Doppelalbum.ACHTUNG: Leider muss ich erwähnen, das die Platte überhaupt nicht in Gold erschien. Das ist nur ein Fakebild gewesen. Zur Zeit gibt es das Bild mit schwarzer Vinylplatte aber es steht immer noch GOLD VINYL drauf. Das ist eine Frechheit. Da fühlt man sich schon etwas abgezockt. Trotzdem gibt es von mir Sterne, weil ja sonst alles I.O. ist.
