Gets the job done for a cosplay outfit, but don't expect much. Only tried the shoulder mount as I was portraying Link from Legend of Zelda. Needs a sword mounted to stay on, otherwise you need to tape it to yourself....

Good product, good price, stiff material, will need a good break-in period to not look right out of a package.

I love the quality of this belt. It's exactly as pictured. Only complaint is I wish they'd packaged it differently. The way it was squished left it with some rough dents.

I'm no expert on leather but it seems to be of okay quality, not particularly sturdy nor poorly made. My gripe though is the buckle they use could be better quality. It is lightweight, which is okay, but it is small relative to the size of the belt. This causes the scraping and damage to the sides of the belt. The buckle is also on the sharper side, which contributes to the damage.As far as use, I'm still trying to figure it out. It works okay for several variations of side carry but I need to carry it for a longer time to understand the in and outs. If it turns out to particularly better or worse, I'll try to remember to update this review.One good thing to note that the loops are adjustable so in case you have a smaller scabbard that shouldn't be a problem.

I got the wrong product. The product I got is another Medieval belt, which is a perfect belt for what I want, that's why the rating isn't awful, but I am kinda ticked off that I didn't get what I bought.

Though the leathers a little worn it's still a good belt, and the price is great. I punched additional holes into one end to accomadate a wider sword sheath. It works perfectly for the scabbard to my Whetstone Cutlery William Wallace Sword. Another feature I like is the fact that the buckle can be changed. I replaced my buckle with the Cross pattée.

This item is too short to make a proper shoulder belt. I am going to have to find out how to lengthen it so that it has a normal hang

It was good for my barbarian cosplay. I stained it black with leather stain, had to trim it and punch a few extra holes in it and arrange a way to keep the end against the belt but I’m used to that amount of work to make stuff do what I need it to.

I had visions of uses for this belt nut not one washer using it for a Katana. None of my broad swords will fit a fully adjusted belt. I feel like calling it a piece of junk but I sure i will one day find a perfect use for it. The leather is thin but quite sturdy and it does have a nice buckle.. Consumer beware. Plan this purchase wisely.
