Maisys Fire Engine [Board book] Cousins, Lucy

Granddaughter loves to stop and see the local Fire Station and engine so purchased this story book for her to embelish the experience and interest and encourage talking and sharing. It is just the right size, good quality board and colourful pages and I like the shape of it. The story about rescuing is just right for her age. (15 months). Have purchased other Maisy books and they too are just as good. I vote the series a hit! Not all are shaped and I wish there were more of these.

Great story, I wont spoil the end for you but it's a great outcome for everyone. I would have like to have seen the characters developed a bit, and the romantic tension of the main characters resolved in some way. Looking forward to someone taking up the movie rights... but not sure Hollywood would do it justice.

My two year old grandson adores Maisy and her friends both in books and on DVDs. This book is another simple story which is just right for his age group but also gives opportunity for discussion and language development. A sturdy board book too - some Maisy books have a lot of push ups and flaps which are a bit flimsy for this age group.

My son loves the story. Bright colours and grate pictures. Worth buying. Love it.

My almost 2 year old son's second favourite book (after Maisey's Bus). It's a big hit! He gets really into the story line, the nee-nawing, the peril, the sympathy and love for furry creatures, the ending gets a cheer (won't spoil the story for you though!). Fab m
